# Fug the Show: Hart of Dixie

So, all these BlueBellians are in line at The Butter Stick, because the temporary closure of the Rammer Jammer -- during the ownership transfer from Wally to Lemon and Wade (Wademon Enterprises?) -- has really impacted the town's ability to disperse post-church brunch in a civilized manner. Lavon's pants are a delight, but what really amused me about this scene is that every time the actors spoke, you could see their breath. It definitely got cold enough this winter in Los Angeles for Breath Seeing, and I suspect they filmed this early in the morning, so everyone must have been VERY CHILLY in their spring clothing, hence why every single extra has his or her arms crossed. I just don't know why this is like the only show on TV that has this issue.

Lemonwade are really excited about their new business venture, but you won't be surprised to hear that all is not smooth sailing for them -- despite Lemon's cute pants.

I thought you should know that whomever made that sign for the BlueBell Gazette forgot to capitalize the O in "out." Also: Zoe is distraught that the Dixie Stop is no longer carrying The New York Times, although she and George were the only ones who ever read it. I understand the appeal of a paper newspaper, but it's called the Internet, you guys. I have a subscription to the NYT on my iPad and it's great. ANYWAY, after a bunch of yadda yadda, George offers to buy all the papers that Mr Dixie Stop is required to order so that he and Zoe can continue to read Modern Love over their Sunday pancakes, and Zoe totally swoons in spite of herself.

## Tansy

Tansy feels a great disturbance in the force that is her relationship with George, and while I like Tansy and George a lot, there is LITERALLY ZERO CHANCE they're not going to break up before the end of this season, right? There just isn't. Even though he swears she's his lady.

Then this happens. Okay, it's just in one of Zoe's dreams. You can tell because she's wearing that great lace bathrobe she's got, which she only wears for big romantic moments.

Obviously, Zoe isn't too thrilled that her subconscious is Team George.

## Mental Health

Luckily, it's Mental Health Week in BlueBell -- Tim Matheson is counseling everyone -- and so she can get a little mental tune-up from the man with the brain fog. I do love some yellow pants.

I enjoy that Tim Matheson has put on his best Psychologist Cardigan for this. He's actually really very helpful to Zoe and while she is all, "I plan to just push these feelings for George WAAAAAAAaaaaaaaAYYYYY down down down into my sub sub subconscious," he reminds her that she is still super screwed up from her break-up with Wade, and because George is unobtainable, he feels safe. And that's why she likes him. So maybe she should just avoid him until she's got her head on straight again, so as to avoid doing anything super stupid, which Zoe admits is a total possibility. I'm going to be sad if Tim Matheson's Brain Fog ruins his ability to counsel townspeople.

## Rammer Jammer

On the other end of town, it turns out that everyone who used to work at the Rammer Jammer has quit and LemonWade has to hire all new everything and it's going as well as can be seen here. (Wanda quit because she's taking up beekeeping; I normally wouldn't even really mention this, because I secretly find Tom and Wanda best in VERY VERY small doses, but it comes into play later.)

## Mad for Plaid

At least Lemon's skirt is very cute; she went behind Wade's back and hired this French chef they interviewed (SPOILER: he can't cook grits and quits over them), just as he went behind hers and hired most boobilicious waitress (SPOILER: she's underage and can't legally serve booze, thus leading to serious issues with their alcohol license.)

I thought you'd want to know that Zoe brought back the formal shorts for the formal re-opening of the Rammer Jammer, which is kind of a disaster. Can I also confess that, as much as I like AB, I kind of find her relationship with Lavon a bit of a snooze? Their entire plotline this week is that She's Really Great For Him, which is totally fine but also kind of boring.

Sooooo, Carl Winslow is having a Shakespeare Night -- because nary a week can pass in BlueBell without a fun social event never to be repeate -- and yada yada yada obviously George and Zoe have somehow gotten tossed into being Romeo and Juliet, because that's what happens when you decide to stay away from a man so as not to make out with him.

Lemon and these interesting pants and Wade go down to figure out their liquor license situation and what ends up happening is that this crackpot they interviewed to be a cook at the Rammer Jammer ALSO CONVENIENTLY works at the Booze Department and in order to not have their license suspended they have to hire her as chef? She's wacky, she can cook, Meatball loves her --- let's just go with this turn of events, okay? They had to get there somehow.

THEN Tansy -- who was all annoyed about George paying too much attention to Zoe -- does a 180 and decides that if George DOESN'T kiss Zoe in the Romeo and Juliet skit, that means he DOES have feelings for her -- this is so complicated -- so he is all going for it, but Zoe goes totally rogue and wakes up and starts improving that now Juliet is alive and George is all, WTF and finally gets the train back on track and kisses her. Phew. That was a lot.

See? Zoe later claims that this kiss made her feel NOTHING but I don't know that I believe that, given that later she learns that Tansy is moving in with George (because Wanda's bees have moved into Tansy's trailer; sigh), and she makes a face that indicates SHE HAS FEELINGS ABOUT THIS. She does, however, also tell Wade that he totally screwed her up and then he apologizes, and that was all good stuff. But yeah. We are totally revving George and Zoe back up. I am kind of okay with that EXCEPT where do they do from there? Because isn't that end END game? Can't someone bring back Justin Hartley?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!

## Brain Fog
