Wade brought Zoe a giant box of cured sausage, because he misheard the name of a foreign film she wanted to see as "cured sausage." Two things: (a) Where is Lavon's fresh breakfast cheesecake? (b) I would love a man to bring me sausag.....that sentence is seriously about to spiral out of control on me, isn't it?
I want all of this in my closet and I want it now.
This is Oliver. He's from Alabama and once took Lavon on a bachelor party fishing trip. But he has a thing where he hit his head and now he speaks with an English accent, and he's keeping it because people love English accents. AB likes him and doesn't realize he's an American until Lavon calls him out on it and forces Oliver to tell her the truth, at which point she talks Oliver into taking his Head Pills, and then drives him from town when he realizes that, yes, she ALSO only liked him for his accent. So now he's off somewhere else in the American South defrauding other women and neglecting his health!
LBB always looks like she's going to a baby shower. That being said, this dress is cute, and I find them amusing together. After a WHOLE LOT of blah blah were LBB accidentally gets hired as the practice's receptionist AND Lemon labors under the delusion that AB and Tim are having an affair, everyone knows they're nailing now. Or, I'm sorry, that they're in a loving and adult relationship.
With apologies to Jaime King for how unflattering this screengrab is -- we all know she is much prettier than this picture. AND I enjoy any dress that employs this much gold thread.
George's parents show up and ruin his sandwich, in part because his mom BOATNAPS him and Zoe to talk them into dating each other (she isn't a fan of Tansy). This culminates, however, in George realizing he likes being with Tansy, and Zoe announcing that she is happy with Wade. In other words, George/Zoe shippers (Zorge?), put your hopes and dreams on the back burner for a time. For a real long time.

I thought you might want to check out Lavon's butt -- I mean, Zoe's cute pants and hair. Yes. That.

This entire episode is about trousers. Trousers, and Magnolia dressing like Baby (of Don't Put Her In The Corner fame).

Ferreting out the truth about a stranger to town (and his unnatural accent) and giving him helpful life advice is just part of Mayor Lavon Hayes's job. Which is why he's the most helpful mayor in America -- okay, maybe second to Newark's Cory Booker, who just saved a freezing dog and famously rescued a woman from a burning building. But Lavon WOULD save a woman from a burning building if he were real, and things were on fire.

Zoe and Wade spend a lot of time avoiding George and Tansy before finally realizing that is nuts given that there are approximately 25 people living in BlueBell. Also: that coat. It is my everything.

I told you Lemon was fighting Trousersitis -- although I rather like this look on her. I am unable to resist a blouse.

Just a suggestion: maybe one of the reasons Mama George isn't that hot on Tansy is that she is a hairdresser who goes to a fine dining establishment with her hair in Britney Spears Circa Baby One More Time hair.

I know Anna Beth is sad that her fake English lover left town after she talked him into being an American again, but that is no excuse for THIS OUTFIT. WTF. W T Ever-Loving F. It's like an apron became sentient and decided to take over her entire torso.

Wearing shirts tied at the waist is apparently A Thing for the Breeland girls -- but Lemon looks totally cute in this.
And she is never cuter than when threatening someone's life.
