An eagle-eyed Fug National pointed out that Lemon has a tendency to dress "like the Queen." This is accurate. On the other hand, I love Lavon for his closet of pastel pants. It takes a real man to go out in pastel pants.

After such a lengthy hiatus, I applaud The Return of the Formal Shorts. I mean, not because I think they're so great, but merely because they feel like home.

"Her Majesty brought you a snack!" In fairness, that coat might be kind of cute.

"I'm going to need you to get over the fact that I abandoned you when I discovered you weren't really my daughter, mmm'kaay? That'd be great."

Then we sat on our remotes and were transported to another reality, where watched three minutes of Grey's Anatomy starring Rachel Bilson.

I don't know about you, but nothing would make me feel more comfortable about going into major heart surgery than seeing my doctor prancing around the hospital in freaking hot pants. No, Legs McGee, you MAY NOT crack open my chest wall. PUT ON SOME PANTS.

Both girls were wearing really cute dresses, of which I could not get a good picture, because neither one of them stood still. Like this is a Sorkin show. We don't need to Walk and Talk on the CW, you guys. The CW is more Talk and Model.

I thought you might want to see George's sweater and tie combo. Not to mention his obligatory "What Is Happening Here?" face. Don't worry, George. At least you're not paralyzed in this one. Other than perhaps with romantic indecision.

Lemon seriously wore her trench coat inside for like six hours. I have no idea why.

Lavon never looks less than snappy. Seriously. I also enjoy Wade's Preppy Cocktailing Sweater.

"Could I LOOK anymore like Chandler Bing in this sweater vest, Lemon?"

I am enamored of Zoe's dress here. I feel like Lemon's dress isn't intentionally 6 months behind trend, but let's salute her for not being, you know, SIXTY YEARS OFF. From the neck down anyway.

And then THIS happened at the Rammer Jammer. Did we all just fall into a time-travelling worm hole and end up at the Peach Pit After Dark?

See? This is legitimately super cute. I kind of want it. And by "kind of," I mean "TOTALLY."

And then Lemon decided to return to the year 1962. JUST IN TIME TO MACK ON LAVON.

Conveniently, George was BLINDED by headlights at the moment of the kiss, so it's unclear if he saw it...except for in the "Next On," where he said, "I saw Lemon and Lavon kissing." Listen, I'm just glad this moment didn't act as a prelude to him getting run down by a car and winding up paralyzed again.
