I enjoy that this show has taken Zoe's formal shorts habit and turned it into full-on pantlessness, thanks to her nightly sexcapades with Hot Neighbor Wade.

I just thought you should know how REALLY into Halloween Lavon is, which is yet another fact that makes me love Lavon. Look at all the decorations he had time to do, even though he is super busy running for Mayor. Anyway, Zoe thinks she has a stalker - her bed has been slept in even when she's off sleeping at Wade's, and someone has left a toothbrush at her house -- but Lavon is unconcerned.

Who wouldn't vote for this man? He is wearing a LAVENDER BLAZER with such elan!

The race is essentially tied -- Lemon is working her ass off, but there's only so much they can do to swing voters. Personally, my vote would be swung by how CUTE both of those skirts are, and I love the Lavon shirt AB is wearing. CW should sell those.
Note: my vote can not actually be swung by cute outfits. Don't forget to vote on Tuesday, everyone!

So this is "Presley" -- as in Elvis, I assume -- who is a beer distributor and a brunette and a sass-mouth and therefore we're supposed to love her but I already find her annoying and the fact that they're setting her up with George at the end of the episode -- spoiler! - is going to be tiresome, I fear.

Speaking of George, he has more ladies than he can handle and it's tiring him out.
Zoe changes into an extremely cute dress for the sole purpose to asking Wade to help her find her stalker.

I just included this bit of prop business to note that apparently Bluebell has 42 postal workers but only one sanitation worker. Oh! Also! Important plot points: Crazy Tom registered very single member of the Beaudry family BUT they're big Auburn fans and are thus very unlikely to vote for Bama star Lavon. UNLESS, as AnnaBeth points out, she (an Auburn legacy and alum) were to pretend to be in an inner-rivalry relationship. Lavon is into this and Lemon is MOST ASSUREDLY NOT.

It turns out that Zoe's stalker is George, whom she attacks with pepper spray when he tries to climb into bed with her.

It turns out that he hasn't become some Edward Cullen-esque Watch You While You Sleep dude, though. He's sleepwalking.

So it turns out that AnnaBeth -- whose dress is super, super cute -- actually has the hots for Lavon, which is why she's decided that their debut as "a couple" will be at the Bluebell Halloween party, as Romeo and Juliet. Because Auburn dating Alabama is star-crossed. Which is actually true. It is HARD to date a rival. I know a couple here in LA in a mixed marriage (she went to UCLA, he to USC) and they don't even talk the week of our rivalry game. Seriously.

Lemon continues to be really NOT into this. Because she is totally still in love with Lavon. A fact I forgot AB never knew -- I was getting kind of irritated with AB for setting her cap for Lemon's Man Who Got Away until I remembered she didn't know about their Secret Love.

I'd like to thank the show for letting HNW dress up as James Bond and spend the rest of the episode in a tux. Wilson Bethal wears it well.
So Zoe goes over to George's to conduct a sleep study so she can fix his sleepwalking and also to insure that he doesn't sleepwalk off the boat and down. And also to show off this super cute leather jacket.
I feel like you probably wanted to know what George wears to bed. For scientific purposes.

I am also pretty sure you need to see that Carl Winslow went as the Phantom of the Opera for Halloween and he also asked Lavon and AnnaBeth if they planned on going as "LavonnaBeth" or "Annavon." Lavon: "No."

Lemon, of course, is Marilyn Monroe, which works on her. She is also increasingly unhappy about Lavon (a) lying to people about dating AnnaBeth to get their votes and (b) the possibility that Lavon might like AnnaBeth. (That last bit is inferred.)

Zoe accidentally fell asleep at George's house and he wandered off and she lost him, and luckily he wandered right too the Rammer Jammer in his fireman Halloween costume.

Zoe and HNW bundle George off to his houseboat, and Lemon tells Lavon he shouldn't be lying for votes, and so he comes clean about not dating AB and then then hug and then I realize I TOTALLY want them to get back together and so, I think, does Lemon. Judging from the look on her face.

Did I mention that Sleep-Walking George referred to Zoe as his girlfriend and was totally moony-eyed over her? And that Wade might have had that in mind when he went ahead and pushed his friend right into the drink? Especially because Zoe was a little moony-eyed herself?

I think Ruby also kind of wants to get back together with Lavon, by the way, because she respects his sexy truth-telling ways. In addition, she also looks cute in her flapper costume.

This is the scene where Zoe and George talk about why they can't be together right now for reasons that are not solely, "because the plot dictates it." Basically, Zoe can't be his rebound because it will break her heart to break up with him, and also because she is really enjoying nailing HNW and she kind of also has feelings for him. There are so many hot, single, eligible dudes in Bluebell, you guys. I am seriously packing up and moving.

I told you George was going to ask her out. Get ready for several weeks of skeptical faces and plaid shirts. (Prove me wrong, Presley.)

So Zoe comes home and tells Wade what she told George and then they do it. This town is full of hot people telling each other things and then having sex. And wearing plaid. Let's take a field trip.
