Lemon actually looks basically normal here. Also: as this and the next episode continued, she began wearing her hair straight and sweet pimento cheese sandwich, the difference was enormous. With straight hair, she looks less like a deluded megafan of The Help and more like a quirky but modern person. Jason Street, of course, looks like he's modeling for one of those Southern Preppy Clothing Stores that only advertise in Lonny. That is not a slam: I am 95% tempted at all times to buy a ribbon belt from one of said stores, and he looks adorable.

This outfit is actually also really cute, not that you can totally tell from this picture. Just trust me. Have I ever steered you wrong?

This is HNW's non-girlfriend, Jolene Sugarbaker (hee), who is currently on the run from her ex-boyfriend who thinks she's crazy just because she set his lawn on fire. "Accidentally." Turns out she IS crazy, and a pyromaniac, and her lunacy eventually clears the way for HNW to be single SO HE AND ZOE CAN MAKE OUT ALREADY MY GOD ISN'T IT SWEEPS?

Turns out Zoe's outfit is cuter with the blazer on. With it off, she's looking a bit like it's a Chico's Kind of Day, and unless there is an upcoming plotline where she starts dressing like Michael Phelps' mom in order to lure the Olympic swimmer into....something involving shirtlessness....I am out. (Also: the Olympics are coming. I AM SO EXCITED FOR SHIRTLESSNESS.)

Jason Street -- whom I almost called George, but I will NEVER let you go, Friday Night Lights! -- wanted Lemon to learn to relax, so obviously she decided to paint things in this very costume-y painter's smock she just happened to have lying around.

...speaking of costumes, she also had this one somewhere, which she wore to help HNW Blah Blah Blah something about Jolene. The point being: Lemon wore this, and got drunk, and line-danced, and it was actually pretty fun. Trashy Jaime King is amusing.

Mayor Lavon Hayes continues to be handsome.

Hot Neighbor Wade continues to be charming. And to have beers. Too bad poor Lemon's got my living room sconce growing out of the back of her head. That's going to set her extensions on fire eventually.

Okay, in this episode -- the most recent one -- the conceit was that Snow in Bluebell Is Unlucky. But what IS lucky is that Zoe Hart apparently owns the world's cutest cape. I WANT IT.

Sadly, not only did DeeDee get DumpDumped, she also went out with her curlers in. And had sconces growing out of her head. THESE SCONCES ARE A SCOURGE.

See how much better Lemon looks with this hair? It's worth nothing that I need that jacket as well. NEED IT. Jason Street's vest, on the other hand, while totally cute on him, kind of reminds me of the most recent Happy Endings, where -- for reasons I need not get into here -- vest abounded and we all learned that the dude who was in Lone Star for two seconds, James Wolk, is dreamy.

Maybe Lavon's parents here are breaking up because his devotion to exterminating the ectoplasm of the tri-state area is starting to get on her nerves.

Here's that lumberjack you ordered. ENJOY.

What else does one wear to not-elope during the snow? I'd maybe suggest boots, babe.

I totally forgot: Zoe's Dad is AWOL and basically sucks, and Tim Matheson was really nice to her about it, and she wore this cute dress and made this face once.

It's possible he was only nice because someone cracked him on the head with a snowboard, but we'll take it.

Ernie Hudson looks great in that orange sweater/blazer combo. Lavon's mom is clearly thinking, "if you're such a great Ghostbuster, how come you're letting this entity shaped like the reflection from someone's sconces come between us, huh?"

I enjoy how Magnolia only pops up when it seems REALLY REALLY weird for her to not be there, and how she basically doesn't exist as a character at all. Is it wrong that I wish some kind of bizarre disease would carry her off? Considering what show this is, though, maybe she can just go to boarding school. It will not surprise you that Lemon decides she wants a bigger dress than this for her actual wedding.

But I'm right about the hair, don't you think? It's so cute like that.

Speaking of so cute. It takes a lot of man to pull of those pants. Conveniently, I think those pants have taught me that Mayor Lavon Hayes IS a lot of man.
