THIS would have been an interesting direction for the show to decide to go. Obviously, though, it is a dream sequence. In case you're wondering: George has issues. Torn between two lovers, feeling a fool, etc etc.

And then Lavon shows up in George's dream, which I assume is to represent George's confusion over Lemon's affair with Lavon, but I decided was because George is secretly actually in love with Lavon. THAT would ALSO be an interesting place for this show to go.

Of course Lemon sleeps in her bridal peignoir.

a) this blazer is super cute, and b) any outfit looks better when it's accompanied by coffee.

Lavon was particularly funny in this episode. Funny/charming. I don't know if I think he and the actress who plays Annabeth are going to actually have any chemistry, but I suspect we will find out soon enough. Look for my complaints here.

I mean, sharp, right?

I apologize for my FINGERS in the edge of this shot. I was clearly MESMERIZED BY THOSE GUNS. Plot-wise, Zoe and HNW got caught in a rainstorm (of course), and had to take cover in a barn (obvs), where they had shenanigans involving the rescuing of a baby goat (natch).

If only I looked this good when I get caught in the rain. I look like a water-logged ferret instead.

Also: that belt is great.

Hello.

HELLO.

(Not to take away from the ABS PARADE but hilariously, suddenly HNW was re-shirted, but ONLY for his trot back to the barn, because:)

This happened immediately thereafter. This looks like the cover of a self-published romance novel to me. ONE I MIGHT WRITE NOW.

Obligatory Tim Matheson shot.

Poor Lemon. She actually looks great for her big Jilting. I actually am very interested to see what this means for her next season. It might be good.

FINALLY SO MANY ABS AND SO MUCH MAKING OUT. Thank you, show. You have heard my pleas. Keep it up next season.

And, finally, of course it's not a romance if someone doesn't show up at your door in the rain to proclaim his love. I can't tell you how often that's happened to me.
