Let your students rally around the blue and gold that are the better part of your history. It might be this one, because all the details are much more stark. Fortunately for Baylor, I believe they had a history of ugly uniforms already -- or at least bright, occasionally urine-colored ones -- so this probably didn't even raise a light pong, much less a stink. ## Big East Basketball Tournament - Villanova v Louisville ![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/163703668.xml) Louisville, by virtue of a high seed, always got to be the "home" team (in quotes because they were not actually at home) and thus wore the light version of its unis the whole time [rather than the deep red](https://www.usatoday.com/story/gameon/2013/02/28/adidas-college-basketball-sleeves-stripes-zubaz/1953549/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Our "home" uniforms were ALSO AWFUL. That green needs to die. I mean, I hate when we go gimmicky with the green football jerseys, but at least one recent iteration of those was attractive. I would RATHER be conflicted about my rage, y'all. Why? And second, they only played one game in them. That's right, for the next round, Kansas wisely said, "Screw THAT," and put on normal basketball clothes and looked like sane human beings. Did Notre Dame not know this was an option? We played TWO ENTIRE GAMES in the green monstrosities and one in the white ones! To bastardize Jeannie Bueller, "Why should they get to ditch when everyone else has to go?!?" ## UCLA v Arizona State ![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/163688437.xml) UCLA ditched TOO. One game in this comparatively sane ensemble and they were right back to their regulars. The moral of this story is: Notre Dame, Cincy, and Baylor AT THE VERY LEAST should burn their contracts and hit up Reebok. I was going to say Nike, but that company is responsible for Oregon's football unis, so let's run the other direction. Hell, even Stella McCartney would be better -- her GBR Olympics stuff ran rings around this. Hear me, adidas? STELLA McCARTNEY HAS BESTED THEE. Hang your heads. [Fug the Uniforms: adidasFor the various basketball conference tournaments (please, not the official March Madness tourney, or "madness" it will be), adidas made special-occasion uniforms for six teams. Six teams they OBVIOUSLY HATE. FOR THESE ARE AWFUL. SO AWFUL. When I saw Notre Dame's green "away" kit, I almost passed out on the spot -- which is an accomplishment considering how screamingly loud they are -- and then Tweeted that they are a neon aneurysm. Also, Time wisely left Zubaz behind.
