# Fug or Fab: Blake Lively

This is a handy excuse for me to mention that I feel like *Gossip Girl* is really GOOD this season. It helps that Katie Cassidy has joined the cast, because Katie Cassidy is awesome.

Honestly, Fug Nation, I'm still worn out from [all the screeching I did about the *Glee GQ* cover yesterday](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/2010/10/fug%5Fthe%5Fcover%5Fdianna%5Fagron%5Fcoryetc102010.html), but I think I like this. Like, a lot. But I can't silence the little voice in my head that's screaming about how Blake's actually rocking a ruffled bedroom valance, the sort not seen since the inside of Judith Krantz's masterwork, *Scruples* (which I am re-reading, and which RULES. It's all sex and shopping -- which is, by the way, the name of La Krantz's autobiography, which is ALSO awesome).
