"Maria Sharapova, you've just won your first French Open -- what are you going to do now?" "I'm going to throw out EVERY SINGLE DRYER SHEET I OWN."

Sadly, if she'd just lopped off the powder-room rug hanging off her bum, she might've been onto something.

I wanted to WP this so badly, because the cut is really flattering and her bod looks incredible. But I have to be honest: It's just shapelessly crunchy and crinkled to me -- as if there really is a rampant WTA static cling problem, and here, it manifested in a piece of taffeta that stuck itself to a brassiere. Her FACE looks totally fierce, though. Look, I love Serena. I was horrified when she threw the match away in the French Open. I know she's polarizing, but I find she usually owns up to her behavior, she's tough, she's strong, she's a fighter, and LOOK HOW BORING women's tennis is without her and Venus. The French was a ten-day nap once she bowed out. I wonder if these things are weirdly cyclical -- men's tennis was dull for a while while the women had Hingis and Clijsters and the Williamses and whatnot, but now it's RAGING, so women's tennis gets stuck on the land-lubbing part of the see-saw.

Everything about this is uninspired. Maybe the dullness of women's tennis has lulled her into a fashion coma.

Oh, Woz. You're so much cuter than a dress that puts you in traction.
