From the front this probably looked normal. From the side it looks like her rear end is having a sudden and violent allergic reaction to satin.

This is both stumpifying her AND eating her alive. And thus mystifying me.

This is so NOT my vision of what Alexa Chung likes to wear. To the point where I feel like Alexa may have opened the box when it arrived, pulled it out, and said to herself, "A satin bag? What did I do to piss her off? Well, screw THAT, I'm not doing my hair for her NOW."

This is a two-piece tuxedo thingy that is actually not the worst thing Stella has ever made, and might be the BEST thing in this slideshow. I assume it's Stella, anyway. It seems like something she would do, albeit with less lunacy than I usually expect.

I think Jo here is about to strap on some goggles and test out Willy Wonka's TV zapper machine with a bunch of Oompa Loompas.

Okay: I don't like this. And I realize I DID like the very similar thing she wore to the Grammys, but here is my logic: One, I think that one fit her better and more flatteringly. I don't like where this hits her boobs; it seems to shrink them. And the slit is awkwardly high and pubic. Two, I still don't really like the hair, but I at least thought the curls were sort of slouchy-sexy in a way that contrasted with the sleekness of the black gown. And three, I feel like doing this exact same look two weeks in a row dilutes the effect. It's like if you have a really great sandwich, and then you decide to get the same one again: Rarely will it be as good or as satisfying, and it might end up retroactively coloring your feelings about the first. And sandwich logic is life logic, so there you go.
