The whole ocular paint job she's done here actually seems a shade (or three) too intense. It's very heavy to the point where she looks odd. Her face just looks WEIRD, and not because her face IS weird. It's been shaded to be weird. I'm also less than enraptured by the uneven hem, the sloppy slit, and the lacy bridge between her straps. It looks like a cloth tape measure. Listen, if at a party anyone needs to know THAT BADLY and THAT IMMEDIATELY how big something is, she probably doesn't want that something stretched across her chest, you feel me? ## Alison Pill ![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/173244384.xml) I know she's standing a bit akimbo in this picture, but this cute idea for a dress nonetheless seems to be bulging and bagging in an ill-fitting way. She's not standing THAT strangely. I don't even remember any character's name except McKenzie McHale (come ON), and Sloane Sabbith, because it's alliterative also. I can't even ... oh, Will McAvoy, right, that's Jeff Daniels. Anyone else? No. It's a terrible show. And this outfit is... not terrible, but totally forgettable. She will forget she owns it. She popped up on "Rizzoli & Isles" at the same time, I think, that she was on "Hart of Dixie." And then she turned up on "The Mindy Project," because what THAT show needed was more characters. AND she was on "The Newsroom" and apparently will be returning to it, AND she is in the "Super Fun Night" pilot, which granted is being retooled so maybe she won't stay there (and it looks so bad, so maybe it'll be a blessing if she doesn't stick around), but the point is: busy. The hair is smug for no reason. This poor actor is part of what might be TV's worst love quadrangle, full of people that are impossible to root for because they're relentlessly un-self-aware and weak-willed and can't put sentences together without either stammering or talking sixty miles an hour. He's in love with Alison Pill, who also loves him, except that she is dating some other dude who didn't want to meet her parents and seemed not that into it for a long time and then decided he WAS into it once he realized he had competition, and she of course keeps staying with him even though they have no chemistry or rooting value AT ALL and she clearly wants the other dude -- whom she set up with her roommate, and whom she keeps shoving at her roommate with really bright-eyed unconvincing denials of love that shouldn't fool anyone yet somehow do, and this guy lets himself get pushed to the roommate because he's bored or whatever even though it is a bad idea for him to be anywhere near that apartent, and basically the only person I like in any of this is the roommate because she's JUST TRYING TO DATE A GUY SHE LIKES, PEOPLE. ## The poster ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2013/07/slide_302988_2569339_free11.jpg) And then this thing. Does that make you want to watch this show AT ALL? These people are all miserable. Half of them look like they don't even know what poster they're on; Dev Patel seems ready to vomit at any second; Olivia Munn is so poorly lit that upon first glance she looks pantsless; Jeff Daniels' tie is doing a reverse Dilbert; and the poster itself just looks like a template someone bought of a generic emotional wilderness and then dropped everyone in at random. This should be redone as of those inspirational posters, except the word underneath in very solemn all-caps is INDIFFERENCE and underneath it the Chekhov quote, "Indifference is a paralysis of the soul, a premature death."
