If you told me I HAD to make a wager on what she'd wear, I'd have chosen white or blush with sparkles. I probably wouldn't have taken very long to think about it, either. Having said that, this dress looks utterly fabulous on her. If you're going to be predictable, do it unimpeachably ("is a thing that no one says, until just now, when the words came out of me," said Perd Hapley).

I even sort of love this. It's SO melodramatic, and it's basically there because she's probably contractually obligated to show her quads at least three times, but these two do a lot of wacky banter when they host this and I think the cape slides into that vibe nicely.

This is just... total filler, right? Right.

Like, why even bother with that gold one? For my money, this one is MUCH better.

Then she just took one quick sec to perform a selection from "Rent."

I watched her win this (the game ended in time) and on TV, her face looked like it was caked with makeup in the same shade as the netting, but her arms were her regular shade, and it was supremely distracting. This is another totally mediocre one for me.

More filler. I mean, it's fine? But shapeless, and I just zzzz.

This is a bit "The King and I," in a way I both like and which is unusual for her. I also think it can't be a coincidence that the cut mirrors very closely the one she wore on the red carpet, which is obviously something she's feeling right now. She's not wrong; it suits her.
