This whole look FEELS like Old Hollywood slinky glamour, and thus, is almost incomplete without a martini glass in her hand and a pin curls. I'm not sure I think it's GREAT, per se? The top panels look like someone glued costume shark fins to her chest. But it's evocative, and she's Karlie, so she knows how to work a dress.

The back is pretty.

SOMEBODY'S emergency order for sequins didn't arrive in time.

The shoes are what get me here. They look like something ran over her feet. Very cleanly. Perhaps a tiny, tiny steamroller.

Very simple, but effective.

And Cindy looks exactly as Cindy does. Except marginally more pissed off in this photo. Maybe they had a fight in the limo about how often he texts Intern George about Pokemon Go.

I like the open back on this, though.

It's nice to see Rita in an actual viable item of clothing. I understand the glittery lipstick, but I'd have gone with red. She didn't need the kitsch there.

That fits her perfectly. As we've said before, when Tom Ford gets it right, it's RIGHT.

And then Jessica Hart showed up in something that looks like she stitched it together at camp this summer. Elie Bamber (on the right, most recently from P & P & Zombies) has on a way more interestingly busy frock. It is HARD to pull off that much activity, but I think she's doing a good job of it.

Ellie, by the way, is in Ford's new film, Nocturnal Animals. And I'm intrigued by the shoe choice. I can see it screaming out for color, but the dress is SO lively that I also do understand the impulse to make the footwear blend in and do a little less work in competition with it.

She's giving me much better associations with blue velvet than I had after Blue Velvet.
Also, I originally thought this was Beverly Johnson, but it's totally Iman. I'm embarrassed that I got that wrong, but HEARTENED that other people in the comments also thought it was BevJo. I'm sorry, ladies. In fairness, it's a compliment to both of you to mistake you for each other.

Jon Hamm's suit looks great. I did admittedly spend a LOT of time staring at his face. Specifically, his eyes, because something about them look a little different to me. Smaller undereye bags? Smoother? Maybe he is just sleeping really well and then had a nice chemical peel. It just tripped me up for a second and then I couldn't stop thinking about it.

He performed, and has on an EXTREMELY snazzy jacket. I approve.

Reliably suave.

That slit MIGHT be verging on being a highway to the danger zone.

He loves a kooky outfit, so this is actually quite square for him, almost. But he looks tremendous, apart from... there is the appearance of a weird vortex in his crotch, suddenly? I didn't notice that right away.

Uma is so damn glam.

But she and Jon Hamm MIGHT have had the same facial peel.

You go, Country Strong. You look very put-together. I was going to say I miss him and Kirsten Dunst together, but I love the rumor that she's dating Landry (from FNL; aka the actor who played her husband on Fargo), and I REALLY want that to be true. So... sorry, Garrett. It's free Crucifictorious concerts ahoy for Kiki.

Rita looks really good here. Not nearly as much nutty in this Noted Kookerie.

You know... Zayn just always looks to me like the guy you knew in college who WOULD NOT stop writing the most INSUFFERABLE poetry and would only speak to you in impromptu verse.

It's okay, though. Professor Edgerton will give him some EXTREMELY detailed and difficult notes.
