Keira Knightley at Chanel

Several other publications ran a version of this photo where her waist looks bizarrely tiny, and I think they specifically chose the most abnormal-looking photo to rile people up: the cut of this frock does emphasize her waist, but I actually think it's a very cute dress. I have grown fond of her over the years.

Chloe Sevigny at Louis Vuitton

Those shoes are mega clod-hoppers, but that coat is really fab.

Fan Bingbing at Louis Vuitton

Speaking of amazing coats. HELLO LOVER.

Princess Charlene at Louis Vuitton

(a) Princess Charlene's face looks great -- her skin is looking amazing. (b) She is seriously hardly ever with Albert or even at home. While it's totally possible that they have some kind of arrangement that they're both happy with, that involves, "let's not hang out if we can avoid it," it LOOKS like trouble in paradise to outsiders. But maybe the Monégasque palace PR doesn't really care about that? BUT! Don't you think they're being pressured to produce an heir? (Not that it's anyone's fault if they're having issues with that, but being in different countries all the time can't be helping.) I am fascinated with what the heck is happening in this relationship and also with her leather pants.

Rinko Kikuchi at Louis Vuitton

This BAG. I am not a fan of the logo-LV bags (I don't like a lot of logos on things, personally), but this bag is fab.

Kate Mara at Louis Vuitton

Everything about this is less successful. Other than the backdrop. The Louvre is still beautiful.

Catherine Denuve at Saint Laurent

Speaking of Paris, what's more Parisian than Catherine Denuve in an LBD and a giant fuzzy coat?

Noomi Rapace at Stella McCartney

I know it's Stella, but this coat is cozy.

Rihanna at Stella McCartney

This is ALSO cute. Bonus points for those shoes.

Rihanna at Givenchy

Well. One does not expect to see an delicate veil paired with a backwards baseball cap. So, points for ingenuity.

Rihanna at Miu Miu

This reminds me of a coat I used to wear all the time in the late 90s. My co-worked at the time called it my "Jessica, Portrait of a Teenage Runaway".

Beth Ditto at Givenchy

I love this on her, but I want to rip the bow off and throw it in the Seine.

Noomi Rapace at Chloe

This might actually be the best she's ever looked. Although I'm over the Don't Use the Sleeves on Your Coat thing, if only because every time I do it myself, my coat falls off when I try to, you know, move around.

Lupita Nyong'o and Elizabeth Olsen at Miu Miu

Something about this photo is really delightful to me. I am all about that shirt/sweater combo on Lupita. We know Lupita loves the Prada/Miu Miu brand. I fear this will lead to future tragedy, but let's keep a good thought.

Bella Heathcote at Miu Miu

This is very bland.

Margot Robbie at Miu Miu

I love this coat, and I LOVE the coat on the woman behind her.

Lea Seydoux at Miu Miu

I know she was on the cover of Vanity Fair this month and yet I never recognize her. She could hit me in the face with a quesadilla and I wouldn't be able to ID her.

Adele Exarchopoulos at Miu Miu

Apparently, despite being totally ready for spring, I still want to buy coats.

Elle Fanning at Miu Miu

This almost works. I am rarely a fan of a white bag.

Jared Leto at Miu Miu

I appreciate the interplay of scarf and hair. Just keep livin', Leto.

Fugs and Fabs: Celebs at Paris Fashion Week
The people who stayed in Paris through the Oscars (Rihanna! Kiera! Princess Charlene!) and the celebrities who must have left immediately after the Oscars to come to Paris (Leto! Lupita! Ooh, maybe they ARE together. I like this. Let's speculate). Tough life, right? So many good coats await you within! [Photos: Getty]
