Well, this happened. I wish I liked the underlying dress more, but I'd take it if we could just lop this off at the knee and then drown the discarded fabric just to DO it.
And Elle's all, "Today the role of The Angelic Fanning will be played be me." It's shapeless, but at least I'm not concerned she fancies my liver to mix with some eye of newt.
I feel like... she's at the perfect age where you can briefly bring back knee socks and buckle shoes without looking like a desperate youth-clinger. So I'll allow it. She is polished and poised and cute, as usual.
Why did Bambi have to get dragged into this? Hasn't that poor thing been through enough, without also having its face sliced off?
We've seen a lot of this pattern, but I still at least like it. This particular cut is a bit more appropriate for the previous four people in this slideshow, maybe, but Angie Harmon is a tall drink of water so she can make a convincing argument for most things.
Except for these shoes.
This is fine, but...
Can we talk about how no matter what is on her body, her face and hair look EXACTLY the same at all four shows? Maybe some of them were on the same day -- I'm sure that's true -- but then don't you, say, plan accordingly and slap on some different lipstick for the last show and maybe have someone twist up your hair just so you have SOME variety? Or do a ponytail? I've seen actresses do more in fifteen minutes between shows in New York. I love you, Angie, but you're not ACTUALLY Jane Rizzoli.
I have no idea what's underneath it, but I like that coat. So let's call it a win.
Lupita continues to be awesome, and Dockery looks good too. I love the vivid pink lipstick on her with a leather dress.
I have the strongest feeling that I don't like those shoes.
She was giving some SERIOUS drama face in these photos, in a delightful and also maybe slightly facetious way. She is also pulling off that floral suit. Zosia Mamet wishes she were this fierce. THIS is how to glower in flowers, dear.
So I guess these Far Side sunglasses are coming back. Yes, I know, they existed before the Far Side, but they always make me think of old ladies named Gladys with beehives, calling their neighbors, and farmers with murderous cows.
She looks nice in this -- mostly, I'm not used to Ciara showing that LITTLE skin.
That's a cool dress. The color looks... just fine on her, I guess, but something about this doesn't seem to be bringing out her natural bombshell.
Her face says, "WORDS." So I don't need any.
Oh, Princess Sadface. The purple lipstick doesn't make you look happy; it just makes you look freezing.
NO THANK YOU, IGGY. You are the Earth and I am a space station and I am OVER IT.
