I also really loved reading the story about the Gilmore Girls theme, "Where You Lead," in which she revealed she wasn't into anyone resurrecting that song because it was written for a man and she felt like it was too dated and not pro-woman enough to have a song about following some dude anywhere he wants -- but then she realized redoing it with her daughter and putting it on Gilmore Girls would give it this wonderful texture about family, and the rest is delightful TV history. ## Janelle Monae ![janelle monae kennedy center honors](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/12/GettyImages-500272198.jpg) It is impossible for me not to love this photo. It's SO DRAMATIC. That is some marvelous side-eye, and I only wish her mortal enemy had been on the other end of it. Unless... unless her mortal enemy IS on the other end of it, because WHAT IF I AM HER MORTAL ENEMY? I hope not. I would make a really unsatisfying mortal enemy.
