# Fugs and Fabs: Celebs at the Wimbledon Finals

I feel like everyone behind Beyonce is simultaneously taking her photo and trying to figure out if they like what she's wearing. I personally really do not care for it, but I admit part of that is because she's caught in some wind-and-ruffle shenanigans right here.

This really is down to pure personal preference, I think. I am not drawn to white dresses very often, nor lace, nor that particular flavor of ruffle. So I look at this and think, "Boo. PASS." But for other people, all of that might really be in their wheelhouse. I realize this is true of the way people react to all fashion, but I guess what I'm saying is, with this kind of casual summer dress I think it comes down more than usual to whether or not YOU would ever wear it. I would not.

Also: I gave Bradley a justifiable hard time for looking sloppy the other day (I do think, even if there is no required dress code for his particular seats -- though I'm not convinced he was in the casual area -- that there is an expectation of looking presentable that he could easily have met.) Jay Z here is at least not wearing pants with holes in them, and his jacket is shiny. But I likewise feel like it would not have been that hard for him to pull it together a bit more formally FOR THE WIMBLEDON FINAL. Sheesh.

Side note: I read [a blind item recently that some people guessed was Bey and Jay, and some thought might be Bradley and Irina](https://blindgossip.com/?p=79567&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#more-79567). BOTH couples turned up at Wimbledon, so both guesses are still in play, I suppose. At the beginning of reading it, I was on the Bradley/Irina train, but somehow by the end I decided on Bey and Jay. I think because nobody really cares whether there is rumored trouble in Bradley and Irina's relationship, whereas rumors of trouble in BeyJay's would be headline news.

Speaking of these two, I don't even know what he's doing here. I guess he and Jay Z are both wearing very NICE zip-up jackets, so maybe I can relax on that, but where are your socks, Bradley? Your bottom half is running out for coffee creamer. Meanwhile, Irina's bottom half, she stole from one of the Queen's guardsmen.

I sort of like Portia's dress, and yes, I say that knowing it's a weird hybrid of a sandwich board and a sports bra. She looks very cool in it. (Ellen looks fine. She looks exactly like Ellen.)

I am significantly less excited by everything I see here, except perhaps the sunglasses.

Heidi looks... you know. Like Heidi. Her shoes are enormous. Slow your tongue rolls, you two.

However, his fiance's shoes are the least kinky boots I can imagine. Unless you personally take "kinky" to mean "weird," in which case, they are brimming with kinky.

I also enjoy how roaringly into it she gets during their matches. The commentators implied that Andy really likes to see a little life in his section -- possibly exacerbated by his coach Ivan Lendl's refusal to experience emotion in public -- so I wonder if she's very careful to whoop it up when she senses he needs it. For the record, also, I thought Kim looked very nice, yet I also would not want to buy any of those dresses for myself.

And, of course, Serena won the singles in straight sets -- and in a FABULOUS tennis display, too, from both her and Kerber -- and then casually won the doubles with Venus. I love that. I feel blessed to have been witness to her career. (Dylan was so stressed out during the last game of their doubles match that he hid in the kitchen. He and Liam were SCREAMING, "GO SERENA! GO VENUS! SISTERS!!!!" If only they'd seen the Bryan twins.)

Anyway. I feel like Serena looks like she sent her waxwork in her place. She seems very stiff in this, as if to say, "I know. I don't love this, either. But it's what I had with me and I am really not that fussed about this particular event and also I am not just the dominant female athlete of my time but one of the dominant athletes PERIOD. And I dated Common. I have a lot in my 'pro' column. Let's get on with this so I can get some good Snapchats."
