Katy Perry ALWAYS goes all out for Halloween, and this is an amazing Hillary costume -- with Bill (last I heard, this was a friend of Katy's and not Orlando Bloom), secret service, and all.

It amuses me that Bette Midler just seriously recreated her entire Hocus Pocus costume. Why not? The kids love it. (I missed the Hocus Pocus boat by virtue of the fact that I was too old to care when it came out originally, and I don't have any kids.)

This feels about right. In fact, I wouldn't surprised if she's worn this before. It's sort of comforting to see Paris Hilton in her Sexy Whatever Costume, as we have so many years before.

I cannot ding Paris for ALWAYS wearing something Girlish and Flirtatious. It is right on brand.

McFly! With the Nike Self-Tying Shoes from Back to the Future II! When he performed, also, he wore the proper plaid Marty McFly shirt layered under the jacket. (I assume it was too hot to wear all the layers at this point.) Well played.

I don't know if Rinna is totally recognizably Cher without Sonny next to her, but this is a classic couples costume. And much better than last year when Harry wore a swastika.

It makes me laugh that Nina decided to be Lochte for the evening. There is a lack of vanity here that is charming.

What happens if a Lochte meets a Lochte, coming through the rye? Does the earth implode?

Meanwhile, the real Lochte is playing The Mad Hatter with a girl whose apron is so tiny that it took me twenty minutes to realize it wasn't a personalized cockail napkin tacked to her bits.

I can't tell exactly what Debbie is -- some sort of witchy high priestess? -- but she looks great. Cheryl clearly missed the opportunity to place a tiny sailing ship in her hair. (If you're going as Marie Antoinette, really go!)

Speaking of people who did not phone it in, Mr Marc Jacobs, everyone.

I feel like this is a good example of Making An Effort While Not Actually Wearing Anything Different Than Usual.

Jenna is a unicorn, clearly. Is Emmanuelle in costume as Mila Kunis in the Jim Beam ads?

I kind of want Molly to repurpose this caftan for a non-Halloween event, to be honest.

I mean, what is even the point after Heidi Klum did it last year?

I am not a huge fan of his, but this costume is totally cute and cozy. (I love Oscar the Grouch; we're both cranky hoarders.)

You probably saw elsewhere on the internet that Hilary Duff's idiot boyfriend dressed up as a Native American to accompany her Sexy Pilgrim. They have both apologized, but...seriously. I cannot believe either one of them thought that was anything even APPROACHING a good idea. It's 2016. That kind of thing is never acceptable, but considering what's happening at Standing Rock right now, it feels doubly insensitive, if such a thing is possible. There are 100,000 costumes that people can wear on Halloween that are fun and sexy and amusing and clever that manage not to be massively offensive. Unless the two of them are actually unfrozen cavemen, there is no longer any excuse for this sort of thing. You are grown adults. Act like it. (This is leaving aside the fact that I actually ALSO think Sexy Pilgrim is incredibly stupid, on a much lesser level. [a] That's THANKSGIVING, you dumb-ass, and [b] technically the Pilgrims came to America to escape religious persecution and that is sort of a strange thing to sex-up, when it comes right down to it. Not everything needs to be sexy. You can create a cool Halloween costume of a historical figure and NOT turn it into a leotard and you will STILL LOOK ATTRACTIVE AND INTERESTING. And I am not a person who opposes a sexy costume! But JUST DRESS UP AS SOMETHING SEXY IN THE FIRST PLACE ARGH.)

I do appreciate her looking out for our eyeballs WRT her nips.

As ever, half the time I have no idea what anyone's costume actually is. Is she just really into Goldfinger right now?

I don't even know. Is Adam holding a bag of frozen vegetables? What is even happening here?

So, Roller Derby and...irritated Chicago baseball fan who feels like this is the most agonizing post-season of his life?

This is a classic. I mean, if you've got to wear a jumpsuit...

I assume that Selenis is just...Generic Spooky Sexy Witch-esque? Taryn, though, I have no idea. Is she....I got nothing. Robot Cher Horowitz?

I am sure one of you know what this is. I am just coming up blank.

I like the idea of her and Shane West catching eyes across a crowded party, and then realizing their similar costumes meant they're meant to be together.

I love this. It's in the genre of Fab But Slightly Halloween-y Gown Elevated By Witch Hat, for which I have a personal fondness.

Sly and Jen are just REALLY into Westworld right now.

This is a fun family costume on a family with very attractive genetic makeup, and entertaining makeup-makeup. Kaia looks SO MUCH like Cindy.

I dunno. When you're known for being sort of Skeezy, maybe a couple's costume where you're playing a literal john isn't the best idea?

Yes, that is body paint and not a real top. She looks surprisingly great in that wig, though.

Is she...a dominatrix? Sure! The underlying theme of Joanna's Halloween in 2016 is NIPPLES!

I'm honestly MUCH more interested in what everyone is wearing behind them.

I...don't know? Us Weekly called this a "ballerina clown" costume. Is that a thing?!

It turns out Kevin Connolly is ALWAYS Gilligan on Halloween. That's sort of endearing.

Probst thought they were going to that long-promised Eyes Wide Shut bash.

This is actually a good match of costume and dude.

You're coming in hot, Mav.

I am not sure what the STORY is here -- I suspect it's that one kid wanted to be a flapper, and one wanted to be a shark -- but everyone looks very cute.

The Dawson Leerys are ALSO not forcing their little kids into some kind of Coordinated Family Deal, and are literally all just wearing whatever they want. (Which is a way of life of which I approve.

Oh, Ian Ziering, You ARE a precious unicorn to me. It's true. Am I a precious unicorn to you?
