Joanne Froggatt

If I am remembering correctly, Joanne seems to make bigger wardrobe splashes here and there than the others, possibly because her costumes on the show themselves are -- by necessity -- very plain. So this is her chance to be like, "See? CHECK IT OUT." And indeed, she looks great.

MIchelle Dockery

Michelle is beautiful, and the dress is perfectly nice, if a tad snoozy. But her need isn't as great. We've gotten to see her in period finery for three seasons now.

Elizabeth McGovern

Classy as always, if perhaps a tad wintry. I LOVE the jacket and the hint of sexy cleav. And the lipstick. Her coloring is so great. I always wanted that coloring, ever since I read the Caitlin Ryan trilogies by Francine Pascal. Never mind that the cover model for each trilogy always looked a) totally different from each other, and b) totally different from Caitlin as described. My copy of the first one had a blonde Yasmin Bleeth on it, for crying out loud. And she isn't even a blonde normally. ANYWAY.

Phyllis Logan

Mrs. Hughes, you are a vision from the neck up, and that color on you is wonderful, but in essence you are wearing a Woods of Windsor pot pourri bag.

Rob James-Collier

Thomas! Your hair! Is that a spoiler of some kind?

Fugs and Fabs: Downton Abbey-ites
A very small crew of them came out for a Q&A event. I know Lady Edith was at the Critics' Choice Television Awards, but where is Mr. Bates? Whither Carson? Mrs. Crawley? Daisy? Mrs. Patmore? The Earl of Grantham? THE DOWAGER? Even that old prozzie-maid hybrid Ethel? Can't Branson pack them all into a car and bring them hither? Surely he hasn't forgotten how it's done. But leave Cousin Rose at Downton, okay? She hasn't earned it yet. [Photos: Getty]
