Also, I almost didn't recognize TV's Fauxmanda Clarke from Revenge without her signature curly hair, which I LOVE -- it always pleases me when people go full curl on TV instead of ironing it out to look like everyone else. I mean, it broke my heart when Vanessa Marano on Switched At Birth , whose hair has been SO ENVIABLE, went sleek this season. I'm sure it's because curly hair is time-consuming -- and indeed, there are times when I have to go blowout for time-saving reasons, although I suck at those -- but still. We need our curly icons.

This is the Mad Men costumer. And the dress is aggressive, yes, but in a way that I find beautiful. Those sleeves are amazing. If she didn't dig that up in the world's best vintage store, she should TELL people she did, because it's believable. And then no yokels like me will say, "Boy, I wish that neckline were a bit sexier," because what are you going to do, chop up a vintage gown? Doubtful.

I've decided the writers on Revenge hate her character, and therefore she is saddled with having to say horrible, awkward lines, and she therefore hates the writers in return, and it yields moments like the one where she lost me for good last week: Charlotte thinks Madeleine Stowe is calling to arrange their annual Birthday Foray To The Ballet but does not know what's on right now, and so Christa emotionlessly cooed into the phone, "I pray for Balanchine." BOO. More like Balanchine prays for YOU.

Confession: I didn't think Pitch Perfect was all that. I mean, it was fine? But I didn't laugh out loud much, and really got tired immediately of the forced "aca-_______" fake slang. I exchanged a couple amused expressions with my friend, but in the end, kind of wish I'd waited for it to hit the movie channels instead of PPV'ing it. All of which is to say that Anna Camp is lovely and talented, but this dress is not pitch perfect on her. WAH-WAAAAH.

I can't believe Ben & Kate is pulled, but The New Normal is still going. I deleted about six versions of the same rant about that show, but I'm going to swallow it, because Georgia King was never a problem that I had with it. She is sweet on it, and I like this on her -- although there is a quality about her where her face somehow manages, to me, to look sliiiightly different at every event. Not in a nefarious way; just something about the differences in styling and photographic angles suddenly have her looking like she MIGHT be someone else.

She was a hot freaking mess when we started this site, and this is absolutely divine. It's so good that sometimes she makes me think I need an anklet tattoo. Which is ABSURD, and don't worry, Mom, I will never get a tattoo. But her innate coolness momentarily bewitches me, is all. I mean, she's wearing a dress with a zipper up the front and it's not bubbling heinously. How does she DO that?
