I like this MUCH better. It's very breezy and as much in denial of summer being over as the LA weather is right now. (I realize she is not in LA, but it's hard for me to divorce my mentality from the fact that my kids just played soccer in 102-degree weather on a DIRT FIELD YOU GUYS IT WAS LIKE THE APOCALYPSE.)

This is the first dress, covered up by an ADORABLE coat (which nods to what the weather may ACTUALLY have been in The Hamptons this weekend). She should never have taken off that thing.

And, some his-and-hers coats for you. They look so relaxed and happy. It pleases me. I admit I am not WILDLY keen that whatever he's wearing UNDER his coat cannot be seen, thus making it seem like he's just going bare-chested under that thing. Also WOW does that coat not want to button. Now i'm imagining that he IS naked under it and his chest is like, "I WILL NOT BE DENIED," but the coat is all, "HE BUTTONED ME AND I WILL HOLD MY GROUND. YOU SHALL NOT PASS."

Emily Blunt is, to me, a very unlikely choice for someone who's become a bit of an action stud. But between the praised but under-seen Edge of Tomorrow and her gritty gun-toting work in Sicario -- added to stealing Into The Woods and obviously The Devil Wears Prada, among others -- she's basically proving she can win at any genre.
