But we all stayed up late glued to the news while everything unfolded, and we all drank a lot of celebratory booze once the suspects were in custody. I tried another episode of *The New Normal*, and I can't. It says a lot about your show -- none of it good -- when you are dealing with an issue I agree is important, and I concur with the show's viewpoint on it, and yet I STILL find the show too smug about itself and want everyone on it to shut up because they're so freaking preachy. I feel like Nikki Newman is better than all this Retired Showgirl stuff. Though I believe she and Victor Newman are engaged again, which... we'll see how THAT goes, considering not that long ago he was romancing his former daughter-in-law, who also at one point tried to burn down the ranch and has slept with BOTH of his sons. Soap opera judgment is the MOST sensible kind of judgment. ## Sherri Saum ![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/167111642.xml) Speaking of soaps, I've thought Sherri was so gorgeous since back when she was on *Sunset Beach*, getting impregnated with a turkey baster by the jealous ex of her boyfriend, who put a DIFFERENT man's sperm in said baster and then staged a photo of them sleeping together so that it would be really hard to refute the affair. That is some elaborate revenge. Also, squicky. It's Ioan Gruffudd from *Ringer*, beaming and delightful and not gruffudding his dduffurg in the slightest. I missed him. And I miss that show SO MUCH. I also find Alice Evans delightful -- she is Mama Original on *Vampire Diaries* \-- but she's much dishier than this outfit suggests. It's a tad frumpy on her. She deserves more. I just want her to be happy. ## Chris Evans, Scott Evans ![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/167108368.xml) So nice seeing Chris there to support his brother Scott, who has had a rough go. He was in a gay storyline on One Life To Live, and an actress quit due to religious objections, and then the story itself got dropped and THEN Chris outed him (per Wikipedia), and in December he was arrested for trying to buy drugs from an undercover cop. But they both look handsome and I hope everyone is healthy and happy and not buying drugs or at least avoiding undercover cops.
