Jen and Justin
Contrary to what you might think, I actually have no beef with Jennifer. To paraphrase Sondheim, I'm so happy she's so happy. Do I think that giant engagement ring that can be seen from space is a little cray-cray? Sure. Do I wish she were wearing a little color in her face? Of course. Do I renew all my fond feelings for her every time I catch a rerun of Friends, which is essentially nightly? I sure do. This is par for the course for her -- and he looks very classic indeed -- so, you know. Good for you and your sideboob, kid.
Minka and Drew
Minka looks lovely as usual, although I have concerns that her halter might be fastened with a little bow tie, which is a little Magic Mike, perhaps. And bonus points to Drew for looking so together after having a baby like three weeks ago. Considering that this event is at LACMA -- our county art museum here in LA -- I enjoy that she is essentially wearing a formal art smock. It's nearly Halloween, so she is both comfortable AND thematic. She may ALSO be wearing leggings, but I'm just going to give her props for hot shoes and a great bag and assume they're skinny black pants and give her a round of applause
Jami Gertz
I was about to make a mean joke about how I had forgotten she was alive, and then I remembered Jami is on that nutty sitcom where everyone is an alien that I actually think might have already been cancelled. So I will just say that I really loved her on Square Pegs when I was a kid and I wish her sleeves fit more tightly.
