Lately Kate has been the master of the slinky gown. This one is a little disappointing for me because it's not interesting enough -- the twisty bit at her waist just makes me think of a Turbie Twist. But we also need to discuss this posture. I'm sure she was in the middle of walking, and stopped for the picture, but it's SO Quasimodo. Girl, your body is insane. STAND UP STRAIGHT and SHOW IT OFF.

Also, she is totally further along than I would have thought from the other photo. A lot of THAT is the luck of the draw, too, but also well-played on the dress. I'm not someone who thinks pregnant ladies are obligated to wear maternity clothes -- if you find something that fits and looks good, who cares if it's labeled "maternity," and in fact, often the stuff that IS turns out to be awful -- and so this is a nice way of showing how gracefully it can be done. Cute dress, good bump, everything fits, nobody looks like they're having a hard time breathing.

I love how dramatic this is. She looks like she is in the middle of a fashion show for lady spies. If her hair were as slickly packaged as the rest of her, it would be kind of amazing. Even so, it's STILL kind of amazing. It's heavy, and it's A LOT of things, and I don't know why she's got hand luggage, but I'm pretty sure she's waiting for a train to Switzerland, where she will murder a man who done her wrong and then take a lot of cash to a safe bank.

This is cute. A touch too short, perhaps -- caught in the netherplace between a mini and a regular length -- but it's not offensive, and I LOVE the purse. Consider also that this is a woman who I'd SWEAR once wore a moldy tarp as a dress, and wore a bathing suit under shorts to eat lunch someplace that wasn't beach-adjacent. So this is a victory in our time.
