This has...a lot going on. I like it and I have concerns. In other words, it's confusing. But she might be working it. It's brave without that being the euphemism for "ugly," as I occasionally use that term. I also would like to point out that there is something about her that -- despite sometimes crinkling my brow over her clothes -- I find super appealing.

If we covered the Sisters Gummer's Met Ball looks, I (a) can't remember and (b) can't find the post. I actually think they both look totally fine. I like Mamie's dress, even if it IS a little bit like something you might hang from the windows in your drawing room (I don't have a drawing room).

This is totally fine. I just wanted to give Mark Green here a shout-out. He aged RAPIDLY like the five years after Top Gun and has held totally steady since then. Good on ya, Goose.

When I told Heather I was writing this post, she was all, "I saw those pants and was like, 'Jessica loves a crazy pant.'" SHE KNOWS ME SO WELL. I actually love this, but the pants need hemming, obviously. That aside, this is so much more fun than the Sack of Streep we just saw.

This is so stolen from Meryl's closet.
