This looks like a nice work dress has been taped back together, but I don't hate it. Actually, she looks pretty good, and I think my only change might be to stop one tape-line earlier.

Noted Kook Carol Alt actually appears to be wearing a nice dress, and looks normal. Which may be why she wandered into the world's most aggressive beam of light: So it can add a splash of kook where before it was arid.
