This is pretty. I would have enjoyed seeing it with the Champagne bits in a color, but I also see how that might have turned it into Daytime Stroll In Cannes, whereas the shimmer is what's carrying this into evening wear. Just barely, though.

I really like this, though, even if I don't totally understand why it's belted in the front. And it's perfectly accessorized.

Whereas this feels unconvincing. I don't like the Bonham Carter wisps her hair has going on, although I do appreciate that she picked something fairly sedate (given her genetic propensity for... let's say "showy" and let it be pregnant with many meanings). Mostly, there was something almost self-conscious about the way she walked the carpet in it. Every picture seemed timid.

This is fairly interesting, but I cannot figure out what her chest is doing under there. I spy an asymmetry of coverage. Did a lining fall down on the job, or ... is what is happening there SUPPOSED to be happening?
