The thing about Alexa is, I actually -- in the admittedly limited times I've seen her on TV -- find her charming, so I can't sort out why she never quite happened in the US. (I also interviewed her once at Fashion Week and she was completely cool and pleasant, which I always consider an achievement because I am a DOLT most of the time when I am trying to sort out what to ask people. I have often wanted to ask, in fact, 'Is this the worst interview anyone has ever given you?')
ANYWAY. The dress. I think it's trying too hard. If you took the lower of the two white scroll things off, and made it knee-length, that might be better? Something about the placement of the details and the crooked seam -- on top of everything else -- just feels like it isn't as sleek as it wants to be.

I do not ever want them to remake Back to the Future. But if they ever DO, they should at least AUDITION Christoph Waltz for Doc Brown.

A nice, clean, simple suit. He looks tired, but I am not mad at him for not attempting to reinvent the suiting wheel.

Another highly dapper gent.

And, the trifecta of foxiness.

I will let her Wikipedia bio speak: Kimberley is "an English swimwear designer, television personality, actress and socialite best known for her role in the BAFTA-award winning reality television series Made in Chelsea." This animal-print feels a little on-the-nose for a Tarzan premiere, but when you see what's coming you'll know why I don't mind it.

Tallia (a Scottish singer) basically wore A LOINCLOTH. So if Kimberely was on the nose, Tallia is up it.

And Lizzie (another TV presenter type) cut off the nose so that I could not continue to torture the language. She then evidently put it in her purse and hoped it would help her sniff out a lingerie modeling contract.

Hozier just wants Kylo Ren to have an emo musician brother.

"So congrats on being in the movie!" "I'm not." "You're.... not?" "Nope. Aren't you?" "No!" "Then why are we here?" "I... let's tell people we thought it was the International Convention of Rumpled Shirts and Questionable Jackets." "Well, don't think we'll need to SAY it, but okay."
