While this cut specifically might be a tad matronly on most people, the idea is pretty, and I bet it looked great coming down the runway.
This print is interesting, too. Honor is quickly becoming a show that I really enjoy watching ,regardless of whether I am in love with every piece. There's always something to mull.
Every time I see a dress like this, I think, "Elle Fanning." I don't know why. But as dresses go, this DOES seem fairly Elle Fanning.
I'm mildly afraid that this ALSO makes me think of Elle Fanning.
AND THEN. It's ba-aaaack. All that tulle adds literally nothing EXCEPT length.
See? It's not a perfect dress without it, but it's about 85 percent better.
AND AGAIN. WILL THIS NEVER STOP. Also, we've seen a hundred of this style lately.
And again, see how much better it is without the extra pointless froof?
Please make it stop.
NO, REALLY. I AM DONE WITH THESE.
There's no way this silhouette is going to look good on any mortal woman.
It's... not the most inspiring use of plaid.
Also not the most inspiring use of lace, nor pants. It's like Chico's made pajamas for Victoria's Secret. Or the other way around.
But THIS is lovely, so we've got that going for us.
This is quite cool, too.
This is... not.
Insert Tim Gunn's Worried Face Here.
I do not like those pants, madame. I do not like them, Sam-I-Am.
This person maybe should stop making pants altogether.
This is NOT what I meant.
ALSO not what I meant.
This is never ANYTHING I have meant, ever.
But again: Something to like.
If dresses over pants comes back, as a legit thing, I am going to cry.
This is so overworked, like a map that's been wrongly re-folded seventeen times.
Insert Tim Gunn's REALLY Worried Face Here.
An orange-red leather jacket, though? Probably. None of the REST of it needs to come home with me, but I'll gladly take that and give it a test run.
And I really like this pattern, but just perhaps... done differently.
Proof positive that this style of pant DOES NOT WORK on ANYONE.
Don't let pseudo-overalls happen to you.
Proof positive that "just add more tulle" is never the answer.
Proof positive that slapping thick-rimmed hipster specs on an outfit does not a success make.
This feels like more patterns than BCBG usually employs. I like some of the fabrics; just not necessarily quite how they were all displayed.
Male models are HILARIOUS.
But then things here took an uncomfortable turn.
I am not sure whether to laugh or be horrified.
