Kate was opening an ICAP Art Room -- which provides art therapy for kids -- and they certainly appear to be having a terrible time. She's back in high street clothing (this is LK Bennnett) and the color is lovely.
I like the neckline. This reminds me of a Stella McCartney she wore in 2012, but with more visual interest and moderately less-leggy. I do think this is one of those dresses where you buy it and get it home and think, "oh, dude. I totally already own that." Royals ARE just like us.
Everyone's having a TERRIBLE winter, and I know there's been awful flooding in the UK. I hope all our readers there are warm and dry and safe. Here, sandbags are being tossed while rivers are being forded in Wellies and presumably waterproof pants. (Harry and Wills came out with the Household Cavalry to help sandbag areas in the village near Eton that flooded, the local paper has the story.)
HARRY: "Wills, what are you wearing today?"
WILLIAM: "Blue. What are you wearing today?"
HARRY: "Thought I'd wear my blue. Dad, what are you wearing today?"
CHARLES: "Blue."
HARRY: "It's embarrassing if we all match, though."
WILLIAM: "Fine. I'll wear DARK blue, but the pants to that suit are just like an eighth of an inch too short and I can't figure out why."
HARRY: "Kate and I are slowly shortening all your pants overnight to drive you mental -- I mean, I dunno."
CHARLES: "And I'll wear the double-breasted. Are you happy now, Harry? You weren't even supposed to come to this thing?"
HARRY: "Yes, but I always get what I want."
Here's her Maj leaving Sandringham -- where she's been for AGES, she was up there when we were in England last month -- and taking the train back to wherever (presumably either Windsor or Buckingham Palace). Apparently, she almost always takes public transport back from Sandringham, although I presume she gets her own train. I do like the idea of the Queen sitting there reading a copy of Hello and getting a coffee from the drinks trolley though.
Camilla has taken up a new hobby, DJing. She will be appearing at clubs in Ibiza under the moniker DJ Cammy Cornz. (This is actually some to-do celebrating British radio. The gent behind her looks unimpressed.)
Eugenie needs a wider belt with this dress. And probably a coat, since it's FREEZING in New York at the moment. Additionally, she was at a show here at Fashion Week, but we did not see her. I can't imagine she would be doing interviews, anyway. Also, I would not have been able to think of anything to ask her that wasn't patently ridiculous. "Uh, how's your cousin?"
"Why are we always digging holes at these things?"
Meanwhile, over in Sochi, Anne looks less than enthused, although I think she just has Resting Unenthused Face. On the other hand. Willem-Alexander and Maxima are having THE BEST TIME.
They are seriously the Wills and Kate of speed-skating. Also, I think she's wearing a wine cardigan, which makes me love her.
This seems about right.
At least your glasses are awesome, Charlene. Maybe go back to Sochi and see if you can snag yourself a hot skier who can secret you over the border with him.
