Back when I thought that beige coat was actually a piece of the dress hanging down, I thought, "YES, now we're cooking with gas, Chloe," but since it's just a jacket... this reverts to being merely meh. I wanted to like it but parts of it look a size too big and add bulk where there is none. Emma went with Chanel -- because I love drama, I want to imagine that she was panicking because LV didn't send over anything wearable -- and she looks gorgeous in this cool-as-hell tweedy number from Kaiser Karl. I love the collar. I'm very excited to see it, assuming I can ever get myself to the theater. Anyway, this Dior is... I'm going to surprise myself and say that I love it. It looks like someone took that Windows Photo Gallery menu of different filter options for your photo, and scrambled it up and glued on some ribbon. I love the color, but am not blown away by the outfit -- it's more talk show or daytime photocall, to me, than Bigtime Premiere. And it takes her waist out of the equation a bit. It's the worst mix of "lawyer" and "negligee" -- a lawligee? A negyer? -- and the fit is terrible. Way, way too tight. Maybe? That skirt could be a touch short. I really like it, though. I keep wanting to reach out and touch it and feel its texture. Indeed, on a related note, I forgot she existed. I guess she shot one movie that's coming out this year but doesn't have anything else on her resume (she's not still on Glee, right?). But it's nothing compared to Gwen's pants, which... look, I get that everyone is going to say, "BUT SHE'S GWEN," and the more people say that, the more I stubbornly push against it.
