All hail SMG! I am worried that her new show is terrible -- Robin Williams + David E Kelley = DON'T MAKE ME -- and I don't know that I think she's that adept at comedy (although I think she's very good at SNARKINESS), but she looks slightly bad-ass in this and I like it. I just desperately wish she were playing the Emily VanCamp role on Revenge. Like, weekly I wish that.
I actually really, really dig this. I have a weakness for sequins. A seweakness.
I love this on her, midriff-peephole and all. She is working it (it's J. Mendel). I also love her -- she's Janis Ian! When Heather and I were in the planning stages of Spoiled, our shorthand for the Max character was "Janis Ian" -- so I hope her new Showtime show about Masters and Johnson, Masters of Sex, is a hit. It has Michael Sheen! I also love Michael Sheen! This entire slide is just made of love.
TYRA BANKS IS....HELENA BONHAM CARTER.
No.
I love this one, though it's very...Fabulous Business.
NAB (Needs A Bracelet). Also, she looks like a very well-dressed wedding guest. That's not an insult, just an observation.
Do you ever have one of those moments where your brain is like, "wow, yeah, we don't have that celebrity's name on file anymore"? Mine just did that with Jeanne Tripplehorn here, and I fear it may do the same to this outfit.
I must admit, I haven't liked her in anything since Gossip Girl, and that includes, sadly, this outfit.
I feel like this might need a few wee changes, but she's rad regardless.
Of EVERYONE there, I expected hotter shoes from Aisha Tyler. She's so awesome, she needs to let that awesomeness infect her feet. That sounds gross. You know what I mean.
It took me WAY too long to figure out that Peyton List plays Jane Sterling on Mad Men -- I blame her lack of beehive. She is so dishy, I wish she weren't dressed like, I don't know, a really sexy forensic accountant here.
HELLO BAG.
Bernadette Beck is on The Tomorrow People on The CW with Peyton List, which I believe is that Syndicated-Canadian-SyFy-of-the-90s looking dystopian thing they're trying. In the future, apparently we're all REAL attractive. I kinda like this dress but the shoes, so lazy. Step UP stylists. Shoes are easy.
Adelaide Kane here is starring as Mary, Queen of Scots in Reign, the big CW period piece that I am prepared to TOTALLY LOVE, given my feelings about People Having Romantical Problems In Olden Days. She rather looks like she just fell out of a box labelled CW INGENUE: FIRST OUTING.
NAB, but come on. This is a huge improvement for her.
So, this is Hart of Dixie's AnnaBeth, and she looks nearly unrecognizable with her hair pulled back. She also kind of looks like she's in one of AB's costumes -- which isn't bad, since AB always looks cute, but it's a little Sunday Best.
I actually really like this on her.
I feel like the CW will not rest until Phoebe Tonkin is a star. And I think Tonkin is LOVELY but her inability to really master a solid American accent will never stop driving me around the bend. And now she's on a show with three leads sporting non-American accents and...you guys, I'm scared. Her accent is going to be veering all over the damn place. IF THIS RUINS MY ENJOYMENT OF WEEKLY KLAUS AND ELIJAH I WILL BE DISPLEASED. Can she get infected by some kind of weird Magical Pregnancy Side Effect that lets her speak in her natural accent?
Also, I have notes on this outfit.
I guess Ms Rickards here is in Arrow, which is possibly the only show on The CW I don't watch - I have a storied history of avoiding their superhero shows. Regardless, her dress is totally cute.
She's also in The Originals. She's only 18, so I think this actually kind of works.
I don't LOVE the bodice, but this is pretty cute: summer-y, appropriate, youthful.
Presenting the most unusual and least convincing Mary Kate and Ashley impersonation team EVER. Additionally, they both NAB and I need someone to come over here and explain to me why they apparently thought this was the Arcadia High School Frosh Holiday Dance.
Toni Collette has morphed into an entirely different looking person. I mean, she looks GOOD -- she looks like the classiest, best-dressed, smartest woman on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (only because Lisa has a tendency to overdo it on the pink; I love you, Lisa! You're my Spirit Housewife) -- but different.
She kinda just looks like a standard Real Housewife of Beverly Hills. Those ladies love them a caftan, which I've learned thanks to Bravo and also thanks to the fact that I have to walk past Kyle Richards's shop on the way to get my hair done and it always has like seven caftans in the window.
I hope she and SMG got really drunk and hit the Bronze for an afterparty.
The shoes are a little matchy, but this is nice and summer-y, no? One could easily sip pinot grigio in it.
This feels about right.
