Ashley Madekwe

This whole outfit is very Rihanna to me. It's also JUST disco enough that I sort of enjoy it on her -- it's dramatic and BRIGHT and costumey to the point where I don't think I have to take it seriously, and indeed I don't, AND it's a perfect match of girl to clothes. If Julianne Hough wore it, we'd be laughing. Ashley brings the right aura. However, that "5" belt is insane, unless this party was a Lady Auction.

Her enthusiasm LEAPS off the page. (I actually love the skirt color, but the cuts of both feel too stuffy for a kid that young.)

Jenna Elfman

These dresses with capes in the back undercut themselves -- the slimming waistband effect gets wiped out by all the extra fabric hanging out back there. Having said that, can she and Hough trade outfits? Just to see.

Meagan Good

This is not good on her. I feel like she's never looked as cute as she did in Stomp The Yard. Parenthetically, remember Stomp The Yard? Those were good times.

Giada De Laurentiis

If Giada is teeny, and that dress looks like it shrank on her, then how wee must it be?!?

Props to her for finding a pseudo-nude shoe that works with the outfit, but isn't ACTUALLY nude.

Diem Brown

The shoes are too heavy, and the dress was NOT limo-friendly. Which is too bad, because otherwise it's kind of cute.

Fugs and Fabs of the InStyle Summer Soiree: The Colorful, Pt. 2

I'm going to miss Ashley on Revenge. Her character was so bad at her job(s) that it became delightful, and she was routinely the best-dressed person on the set. Still, with her fondness for bold statements, I'm pretty sure we won't have to miss her on the red carpet because she'll keep getting invited to things. And then eventually turn up on The CW. Doesn't Rachel Bilson need a new bestie on Hart of Dixie? Or better yet, they can hire her to teach Southern Lemon how the posh girls do it overseas. [Photos: Getty]
