This is edgier than she usually goes, which is good; the shoes are a page out of Bullock's latest playbook, smartly torn out by Julie. I do wish I could lop off the black ruffle hem, though -- it's so heavy, like a bag of lead dragging this whole thing south.

Have I noted yet that every second person at Fashion Week in September was wearing a pair of those shoes? Because: true. EVERYONE. Except Anna, bless her, because she basically wears the same shoes every day. Anyway, Sofia looks great -- such a nice change from a busty strapless cocktail frock.
