That muumuu is a putridly hued display, but there's also something weirdly apt about it for a Palm Springs lady. ## Michael Keaton ![Michael Keaton](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516173561.xml) I decided he JUST finished buttoning his coat in this photo. That plus the glasses mean he's a double-winner in Jessica's book. ## Steve Carell ![Steve Carell Palm Springs Film Festival 2015](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516173401.xml) Nice tie, good sir. I like Foxy Bearded Carell. ## Carrie Coon ![Carrie Coon Palm Springs Film Festival](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516172931.xml) She is truly great in *Gone Girl* \-- I actually think Rosamund Pike was the weak link in that movie -- and I would be truly happier if this were, like a Price is Right game, either higher or lower than what you see. ## David Oyelowo ![David Oyelowo](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516173331.xml) This is the fest at which Brad Pitt made a big deal of how to pronounce his name. Which made me roll my eyes and go, "Come on, it's not THAT hard," until I read that it's "O-yellow-o," and... fine, Pitt, you win. Plus I can't be mad at turning anything into a song. ## Eddie Redmayne, Hannah Bagshawe ![Eddie Redmayne Palm Springs Film Festival](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516172921.xml) He looks nice. But he always seems to have his head cocked while trying to look pensive. Will this be his awards season pose? WE SHALL FIND OUT SO VERY SOON. ## Kim Dickens ![Kim Dickens Palm Springs 2015](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516173021.xml) Matt Saracen's mom is ALSO good in *Gone Girl*. She looks pretty here; unfussy. And more like Kelly Preston than I think is actually true when she is in motion. ## Beverly Johnson ![Beverly Johnson](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516173081.xml) Not her best hair. ## Berenice Marlohe ![Berenice Marlohe](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516173241.xml) Needless to say, there is a big slit in here somewhere (the back, I believe). It's... totally boring even WITH the ventilation, frankly. ## Allen Leech ![Allen Leech](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516173621.xml) Oh, Branson. So dishy. You need to stop cavorting with obnoxious members of the working class and find really COOL members of the working class instead, because they're out there. NOT EVERYONE in the Regular World is quite so smug and reverse-snobby. (Sorry. I just cannot with Branson's non-Sybil love interests. Somebody please get him a real contender.) ## Patrick Stewart, Carla Gugino, Matthew Lillard ![Patrick Stewart](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516173531.xml) It is endlessly weird to see Matthew Lillard looking like a functioning adult. I've seen "She's All That" too many times. ## Patrick Stewart ![Patrick Stewart](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/ffn_km_palmspringsff_010315_516173751.xml) But I will never tire of seeing Jean-Luc Picard in his natural habitat. He is a delight, and I'm sure Apple is TICKLED to have a photo of him looking so entranced by whatever he's doing with his iPhone (taking a picture? Playing Bubble Witch? FaceTiming with Ian McKellan? ALL THREE AT ONCE?). I would rather watch this for the duration of a 30-second spot than listen to Timberlake and Fallon do their irritating duo act. TEAM PICARD. [Fugs and Fabs of the Palm Springs Film FestivalNow we all know Sophie Hunter chose that dress because she was smuggling a Cumberbaby in there. BEHOLD THE SPREAD OF THE SACRED DNA. \[Photos: Fame/Flynet\]![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/benedict-cumbernatch-sophie-hunter-ffn_km-palm-springs-film-festival_010315_516172831.xml)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fugs-and-fabs-of-the-palm-springs-film-festival-01-2015/)
