As is, I'm stuck with pictures of her arriving on-stage, which makes it hard to tell entirely what's what. But I THINK I really like this. GUYS. Come on. You get the clothes. You're handing out awards. Do the carpet. You can do it QUICKLY. I might have had notes on this. That fabric reminds me of a VERY 1990 off-the-shoulders, flared-skirt knee-length formal dress I wore in eighth or ninth grade, which isn't necessarily a BAD thing. Just... memories. The thing is, for them not to fall down, people probably DO err on the side of tighter when it comes to strapless dresses. My solution tends to be: not wearing them. But that isn't always an option. He didn't win, but he does look sterling. Remember when he hit his head on that springboard? That was... it's one of those bizarre moments I am always SO AFRAID OF when I watch diving, especially with the platform, but which you think won't ever actually happen. Have you ever seen lazier wig work on her? That is so slipshod. I could check my makeup in the reflection off her hairline glue. [Fugs and Fabs of the Rest of the Producers Guild AwardsCome for Viola Davis, stay for Michael B. Jordan and some really bad wig work on Lady Gaga. The surprise here was The Big Short winning Best Picture, which muddies what everyone thought was The Revenant's clear path to the Oscar, as the PGAs have predicted that winner eight out of the last ten years. (Does that mean the majority of Academy voters are producers?) I don't think that will upset Leo's apple cart; that award, sadly, seems written in stone.
