Kate looks classy and lovely in this, but she's GOT to add some accessory spice. Accessory Spice might also be my addition to the Spice Girls, when they reunite and invite me to stand in the background and wave my arms around and stomp.

She and Johnny seemed very happy to reunite (they were in "Finding Neverland" together), although I suppose it's unlikely they would have taken one look at each other and then spontaneously vomited or started punching walls. One never knows, I guess.

This photo just makes me laugh. He seems so agitated, all, "I'm TRYING. I SWEAR. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT MY HAIR ANYMORE."
And now for gossipy stuff, which... I mean, we all read it and it does tend to inform how we process this stuff, so: While I'm hopeful these two are perfectly happy, he seemed a lot more stressed out in pictures with her than with Kate. Which of course may mean NOTHING. But I read somewhere that he's been struggling with various demons and is currently on the wagon, and I wonder if... like, I am of the belief that Ben Affleck mentally connected J.Gar to his sobriety, which at first was a salvation for him but then a source of resentment the more he longed to be off his leash. I'm wondering if this will turn out similarly, in the sense that Johnny seems like he's on-edge about how hard he's working at.. whatever it is. He's a great actor, and the thing is, hotness comes and goes; at the end of the day I just hope he is happy, because this is a guy who in the last several years looks like he wants to crawl out of his own skin whenever he's asked to appear as HIMSELF at anything.

This is a better, flash-illuminated look at Amber's dress. I think it's fighting with itself (mayhap like her husband). It wants to be glam and it wants to be bordello-saucy and it wants to be sophisticated and it wants to be see-through and it has made NO concrete decisions in either direction.

I LOVE the idea of this on Zoe -- the color, the neckline that becomes a little cape. I'm just not sure this one is tailored to her properly.

Hi, Steve. I assume he's contemplating the Marry, F', Kill" equation involving the attractive elder statesmen of The Daily Show -- aka, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart. For what it's worth... I think I would kill Jon Stewart. It's not personal, Jon. But Colbert stays in there in either of the other two roles -- although I would probably marry him just so i could be guaranteed to spend more time talking to him -- and I find Carell less muggy than Jon. Or smuggy. Both. I don't know. I just have a soft spot for him, and I wasn't that wild about the last few seasons of The Daily Show, so... yeah. You'll have to take this one up with me in the comments.

Matt is all, "But what about the Boston trio of me, Affleck, and Mark Walhberg?" Don't worry, Matt, I would not kill you. I'd marry you and then flip a coin on the other two.

I am just so pleased about his emergence as an overall brilliant person. I never liked Malcolm In The Middle much, but he WAS great in it, and there's something tremendous about going from that to Breaking Bad and being equally at home in both.

I have to be honest, I can't get with the Fass. I was never able to forget those old rumors -- read Lainey's take on them here -- and how weird it is that nobody seems to talk about that pock mark on his past the way they do with other people. I don't know. I have ZERO knowledge of any of it and I'm kind of with Lainey, and so he's never been my cup of tea. But objectively... well, I was going to say he looks well-turned-out, but I'm not sure his jacket sleeves aren't too short, and his pants might not be tailored quite right?
As a side tidbit: I thought he and Alicia Vikander had broken up, so I went to Wikipedia to see, and that's where I learned that he is a SERIAL co-star dater. So Kate Winslet's speech at this fest noting that he hugged her a bit longer than is usual makes me laugh -- like, maybe the Fass was subtly trying his luck.

I really, really need to finish "Bloodline." I've watched the first four and it feels SO MUCH like homework, although Ben IS great in it. And he looks really nice here.

Everything here is as I expected.

I like his tie.

I both REALLY want to see "Room," and am concerned it's going to be Way Too Much for me, emotionally. He looks darling here, though, and I hope he gets an Oscar nod. I hear he's wonderful in it.

Agreed, Christian.
