Oh, Dame Helen. I think you might be wearing a dress over a whole other dress, but that's okay. This Two Dresses for the Price of One Deal -- this BOGO dress situation -- actually works on you.
Well, SHE looks unimpressed, but I love it.
She looks as underwhelmed as I feel by the way this turned out. It's SO close to being good. I think she just needs more skirt. Or different skirt. Or to take this IDEA and apply to something totally different.
I actually like this, but it seems more like something you'd wear to sweep into a tea at which you planned to verbally demolish your rivals. Which I don't think IS actually how this event unfolds.
I feel like one might ALSO wear this to verbally demolish one's rivals, except at a formal event at said rival's home. Something about it feel VERY Beautiful Mold Proliferates On Actress.
If you asked me to close my eyes and imagine what Liberty Ross would be wearing to a Glamour event in London, this is literally exactly what I would have described. I guess that's a good thing? Can we mark it up to personal branding?
Admittedly, I might be dazed from the melange of patterns here, but I'm basically 100% sure you're not supposed to unzip that zipper ALL the way. Much as you're not supposed to be traipsing about with the back of your dress undone.
This is crazy in a way that I kind of love. Is that so wrong? (Missed shoe opportunity, of course. That goes without saying.)
This feels like there needs to be either more, or less, embroidery. This seems like a bizarre amount of embroidery.
I'm really annoyed that I've already made my Mrs Roper joke for the week.
