If you had told me that Louis Vuitton threw this in with Alicia's dress for free, I'd have believed it. Somehow it looks like the Kohl's dilution of Alicia's -- you know, the original concept, divided by about twenty and then forced to compromise on materials AND labor. It's not BAD; it's just not inspiring.

I had NO IDEA she's in this movie too, until this weekend. She certainly brought some great clothes, so i guess even if her part isn't that big, her budget must be.

[Fugs and Fabs: Premiere of The Danish Girl at Venice Film FestivalThe Danish Girl got a lot of attention as an Oscar contender even as far back as when Eddie Redmayne was picking up his hardware for The Theory of Everything. And what's interesting is that I just read the Variety review that says it's surprisingly just as much if not more Alicia Vikander's movie, because Redmayne perhaps plays the character a bit more from the outside in -- which was exactly my issue with both his Stephen Hawking and The Theory of Everything in general (which I thought belonged, or at least should have, to Felicity Jones/Jane Hawking).
