People in Hollywood these days are suffering from the same affliction I am -- that being, everything is JUST a bit too short to be really good. This is awfully close though, so I'm not mad at it. She's glowing, and she wore lively shoes, and potentially dangerous earrings. If she'd thrown in a gold bracelet or two, I'd be truly happy.
I could not deny you the shoe shot, since it was available to me.
See? A skosh too short. And a big raspberry to the footwear. But GREAT makeup, so I'll just keep my eyes up there.
Portia is apparently going to do an arc on Scandal this season, and she could not have picked a more perfect outfit. I hope she and Olivia will go cape-to-cape, slacks-to-slacks.
I really love her hair. I am going to start taking photos of her to my hairdresser, once highlighting is no longer enough to cover Ye Olde Grays. The dress is pretty, too, AND it hits her in a nice spot. Aces, Darby.
This could be worse. I don't dislike it on her, actually, but I think the styling could have been cooler.
It's always a treat to see Paris from Gilmore Girls. I thought she was there supporting Paul Adelstein, her hubby, who is on Scandal, but in fact she's on How To Get Away With Murder, and was on Scandal AND Grey's once AND Private Practice once (which starred Adelstein), so basically: I hope they named one of their children Shonda, retroactively. In other news: I was startled to see her so blonde, but I actually think she looks beautiful.
I could maybe have forged a cordial relationship with this, if the bottom weren't quite so billowing. And the see-through shoes are just the worst. I can't. Either wear sandals or don't.
She is on HTGAWM (this is not as easy an acronym as HIMYM; showrunners, consider the bloggers). Anyway, this is crazy, but in a weird way I like it. She's wearing chest antlers, kind of.
The shoes are cool, too. Cleopatra would've liked them. Which is obviously really important.
I brought you this for dessert.
