Man. If Olivia Pope ever wore a red leather dress like this, Fitz would need to go on heart medication.
I heard buzz that they might be retooling Super Fun Night, which at this point seems to exist only because America Loves Rebel Wilson and ABC really needs stuff that America loves, because we're turning sour on Revenge and it cancelled the beloved Happy Endings (which I really didn't like, actually, but I understand that is an unpopular opinion), etc. I am happy for Rebel Wilson's success, and she seems like a good person. But for as much as people claim she makes fat jokes okay because she owns them and tells them first (the whole premise of Fat Amy, in fact), I actually think Hollywood is treating her like the excuse it has longed for to make dumb crude fat jokes under the false pretense of it being okay because it comes from her. And that in fact Rebel has never succeeded at undercutting that stuff in anything but Bridesmaids, when her weight was never mentioned and never the point, because her character was an amusing weirdo who did amusingly weird things that didn't have to do with her size. Wow, I guess I had a lot to say. END RANT. Here's hoping Super Fun Night figures itself out.
This may sound weird, but I feel like I shouldn't be seeing the bottom hem of the black shirt. This would look a lot sharper if all we saw hitting the pants was the clean line of the blazer. Pity, because I like the idea of this outfit.
I mean... she's fit, it's a bandage dress, blah blah blah. A tad generic for a girl who is actually carrying a hefty load REALLY well on Nashville. She deserves something more special.
That hair is atrocious. Maybe with Clare Bowen (Scarlett) not attending, Hayden felt like she had to carry the torch of Listen, We Can't All Have Connie Britton's Hair, OKAY?
I think she is gorgeous, and I love that she keeps having babies and losing the weight in a normal, gradual way the likes of which the rest of Hollywood is allergic to, but NO, GIRL. This dress is so unflattering. It's a giant glorified boob window.
Oh, no. OH NO NO NO. Unflattering, awful, and... what ARE those on her hips, anyway? Wings? Coordinated solar panels?
Elizabeth is in the SHIELD show, and as underwhelmed as I was by that clip, I DO really enjoy her outfit.
Oh, how I love purple on a redhead.
Tricia is the ranger in Killer Women who doesn't play by the rules ("DAMMIT. KILLER WOMAN, THERE ARE PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW!!!"). She looks predictably great, but -- and I am only into season two of Battlestar Galactica, so forgive me -- I keep wondering if she was, er, quite so well-endowed on that show as she is here. It's not important; just slightly hypnotic, considering my only other experience with her is of Those Tight Frocks.
Eden is on The Middle. And I don't know why, but SURELY she has CHOSEN to be '90s thematic. Right? Because the shoes AND the tied shirt AND the scrunchie around her wrist seem too of-an-era to be coincidental.
He's in Resurrection, and I will always have a soft spot for him from his ER arc -- specifically, its end. He's dapper, generally, but I don't love the color of the shirt. You could be dapperer, Omar. Yes. Dapperer.
When I watch Scandal, I forget how freaking lovely Bellamy Young is, because Mellie's hair is such a glorious distraction.
Another Killer Women woman, and look, hooray for leading roles for women, but that skirt is killing ME. The dress would be SO MUCH BETTER if it went down further and ditched the dumb fringe curtain.
The lovely Maggie Lawson (Back In The Game) appears to have been delicately TP'd.
Hannah is the betrayer in Betrayal. OR IS SHE. I mean, she is, but I'm sure there will be levels of betrayal. Tiers of betrayal. Tears and tiers of betrayal.
I love a covert stripe. I actually love an overt stripe, too, but you feel me.
