I haven't thought about the Veronicas in years. I did not even know they were Australian! Wikipedia also just informed me that they decided to go by "The Veronicas" as an homage to Heathers, which I appreciate. (Don't drink any of their hangover cures.) This event is educational! Also potentially moldy.

There are a lot of people at this event named after geographical locations. Montana here won cycle seven of Australia's Next Top Model, and seems to have an actual legit career as a model. I kind of like this dress, even though it's basically the mural on the wall of the patio at your favorite Greek restaurant.

This appeals to the part of me that spends a lot of time at Anthropologie looking at journals with hand-crafted felt flower covers. (She was "ranked at number 16 on Herald Sun's list of the '100 Greatest Australian Singers of All Time,'" per Wikipedia. However, that llist seems insane to me, so bear that in mind.)

This person's name is just a monogram, I guess? Wikipedia tells me, "Kommunal Landspensjonskasse Gjensidig Forsikringsselskap or KLP is a mutual insurance company responsible for the management of municipal and county pensions and insurance issues." She looks amazing considering she's not technically human, I suppose.

I believe she is an MTV VJ in Australia. She does not have a Wikipedia page, which makes me fear that perhaps she is just a ghost. She does seem to be a ghost who is fully in the Christmas spirit, however? Although snow is not very Christmas-in-Australia....? It appears that I have several questions about this.

Yet another Stella McCartney attempt. (We've seen this one before, and I actually think she looks totally reasonable and also weirdly professional but for the peephole on her abdomen.)

She seems fun at parties. Sincerely. Wiki tells me that she: is an opera singer; "created the show 'The Opera Burlesque' to introduce more people to opera"; and also had a variety show titled "Ali McGregor's Late-Nite Variety-Nite Night," so I've decided I like her and her wacky headgear very much, because that's funny.

She won a season of X Factor: Australia, and "played Kylie Minogue in the mini-series, INXS: Never Tear Us Apart, televised on the Seven Network in February 2014." I NEED TO SEE THAT. PLEASE tell me that one of you watched that, and it was hilarible.
Ella Hooper
Apparently, Ella Hooper is "an Australian rock music singer-songwriter, radio presenter and TV personality," and she doesn't really look like she's going to an awards show, but I DO really like her dress, generally speaking.
Anja Nissen
She won season three of The Voice, and once "performed the Danish national anthem in the company of Crown Princess Mary of Denmark." I implore you, do not look too closely at her bodice.

Gossling here is "folk/pop singer-songwriter," and I might have had her wear colored shoes with this? Like, imagine it with pink shoes? Cute, right?
Reigan Derry
Reigan Derry here "rose to fame after placing eleventh on the fourth season of Australian Idol in 2006... In 2014, Derry placed fourth on the sixth season of The X Factor Australia." I don't know if it seems kosher that one could compete on both X Factor AND Idol. Someone write Simon Cowell an angry letter. Also, this dress way well show up on Reign within the next six months.
