Kate Miller-Heidke

Kate Miller-Heidke is a singer/songwriter and apparently a lover of shiny shiny things, which means we have at least one thing in common.

Joe Manganiello and girlfriend Bridget Peters

They both look thrilled to be there. Jetlag?

Jennifer Hawkins

Former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins! I actually really like this dress, but the way it fits her kind of makes her breast look like sleepy eyes and now that's all I can see. So sleepy. Just want to take a nap.

Danielle Cormack

Danielle hails from New Zealand and she ALSO stole this from K Stew's reject pile. I guess this actress used to be on a long-running soap called Shortland Street, and you will enjoy the following: "Danielle Cormack was cast as the innocent farm girl Alison and at first she enjoyed the experience. However after a year Cormack was sick of the show and decided to leave... In 2010, whilst times were hard for Cormack, she considered returning to the show only to find out her character had been killed off." BURN.

Her character, apparently, got face-altering surgery because she accidentally married a terrorist. We've all been there.

Catherine McClements

Catherine McClements is apparently a very accomplished actor, who originated the lead role in Strictly Ballroom when she was at college with Baz. Ergo, I've decided she deserves SO MUCH BETTER than this, which is the color of sad.

Justine Clarke

Somewhere, Kristen Stewart is digging through the back of her closet, wondering where this went. "I never wore it," she's muttering, "but I CONSIDERED it." Justine is a singer/actor who once was in a "Dolly Parton-inspired band," which....yes. I support this.

Kate Peck

Kate Peck is a VJ who DOES NOT HAVE A WIKIPEDIA PAGE. The internet, however, suspects she's having a "passionate fling" with one Russell Brand, however. (Also, I almost wrote "Russell Crowe," which also would have been juicy.) Whomever she's having a passionate fling with, she looks great.

Carissa Walford

"Carissa Walford" is a name you would probably never run cross in a woman who was born and bred in America. As an American, I am sure there are names that would not raise my brow but which people from other countries hear and think, "that's so American!" Perhaps when they hear "That's So Raven!" even.

I can not figure out what this dress is made of. Is is....Astroturf?

Jules and Guy Sebastian

Guy looks smart -- although I always think the Untucked Shirt in this particular set-up looks SO SO Styled -- and his wife Jules looks adorable. She is apparently a "style expert" whilst he is a musician/former Australian Idol winner who apparently, last year, headbutted a dude who was trying to break into his house.

Megan Gale

Model Megan is hosting Project Runway Australia. I don't love this, mostly because it looks like pillows that used to live on my grandmother's guest bed. That's not metaphorical: She literally had pillows in that exact fabric.

Tina Arena

Tina Arena, that cannot be good for your neck.

Oriel Morrison

I literally just thought, "this woman looks like a newscaster" and she IS a newscaster. That's my super power. This is a bit like a Krystal Carrington Nightgown, but not in a bad way.

Sam Moran

Sam Moran is one of the Wiggles. I feel like as soon as you read that, you thought, "yeah, that seems about right."

Fugs and Fabs: The ASTRA Awards
The ASTRA Awards are Australian and -- if I am parsing this correctly, and please correct me if I'm not -- kind of like if the Cable Ace Awards were more prestigious? Like, the Emmys, but only for cable TV. I think? Australians, help me out. Also, please dish on any juicy escandelo you may know about the people involved here that Wikipedia may have failed to pass along. [Photos: Getty]
