Jennifer Garner

This is about as basic as it gets. It's not unflattering, but it's not dazzling. It's not awful, but it's not... well, it's not ANYTHING, really, is it? It's just sort of there, and she's accordingly not naked, but I'm not sensing much of an effort.

Olivia Wilde

This is also simple, but much more striking. So naturally, she changed out if it...

Olivia Wilde

And now she's a turban and a cigarette holder shy of having a Sunset Boulevard moment.

Alicia Silverstone

The scalloped ruffles are SORT OF hiding the wrinkles in the satin. Sort of. A little. But considering how little Alicia goes out to these things anymore, it's just nice to see her smiling and not wearing knee socks. And she does look pretty, and shockingly ageless.

Ashlee Greene

This is completely serviceable. For a lunch-time wedding. Possibly at the courthouse.

Ty Burrell

Oh, Ty. I love Phil Dunphy, but in this ensemble he looks like a doddering professor. Which... I mean, I'm not mad at him. I'd still consider having a crush on that professor. It IS still Phil Dunphy in there. But I keep expecting him to go back to the late-'80s high school screwball romp whence he came, in which he attempts to teach math and/or sings a song about reproduction to a bunch of students who get a little sweatier about it than is strictly allowed.

Fugs and Fabs: The Butter premiere
When I was a kid, our local pub did an onion-growing contest, and we ate the gargantuan winner with cheese and bread and some Branston pickle. It was delicious. So if this flick about butter sculptors doesn't end with a crusty French loaf and some food comas, I'm going to cry foul. [Photos: Getty, Splash]
