I rather like this, except for the cut of the top. Something about... maybe how low the arm holes are? ... makes it look like she's wearing a tank top backward, and it's not the MOST flattering thing to her chest. Conceptually it's so great, though, and I LOVE that skirt.

Those shoes with this are as tragic as Lady Edith herself. I also hate the pockets, because with her fingers stuffed in there, it looks like she's just clenching her fists angrily at her sides OR tugging at the dress. I like the pattern and basically want someone else to sweep in and remake it.

And this is a fringe sneeze. As of this writing I don't have a credit for it yet, but I would ASSUME Stella McCartney (AND INDEED IT PROVED TO BE), because of how she likes to vomit fringe across her friends. As usual, there's the bones of something cute here, demolished by her scribbles. Standing still it's not as bad as what I imagine it did when she moved. It's just... a lot. Not Stella's worst, but not her best. It's NEVER her best, really, is it?

[Fugs and Fabs: The Downton Abbey TCA DayListen, I like Branson a lot (and am putting him first for a change just so the Downton men get a little love). But he needs to stop repeating the same dalliances with interchangeable, snooty-about-his-new-status lasses -- and perhaps start getting into it illicitly with people I actually LIKE, and/or Mary. But at least he has more charisma than poor Tony Gillingham. Which I keep saying, in my head, as "Terry Gilliam," which...
