Once I realized the skirt was not pants -- it was a weird optical illusion -- I decided I might not have hated it with a sensible top. Instead, we got a medium pizza, delivered cold, with all the cheese having slid to one side because the delivery dude let the box fall on the floor.

Great shoes, but ... sigh. It's a washout.

I wonder if this looked more flattering in person; it's a gorgeous color green but underwhelming in this picture, and Freida Pinto is so pretty that it's just criminal not to do that maximum justice at all times.

Freida would have looked GREAT in this, for example. It's a tremendous color.

I am not sure why her pelvis is in clown college?

She, of course, somehow manages to look the coolest and most polished.

And look! A close-up of interesting shoes! This photographer totally earned his or her paycheck today. Those are nutty but in a way that's appealingly art deco.

These were on Kiernan Shipka, and I think I would've liked them better without the yoke between the toe and the heel. It's like a false wedge. If you're not getting actual arch support out of it, you might as well go for the winning aesthetics.
