Here she's at the Newseum in D.C., at a conference Glamour hosted with regards to educating girls -- a pet cause of Michelle's. I love this dress on her. It's pretty and professional. It doesn't pull focus, but it's polished.

She was on a panel with Yara Shahidi of black-ish, who looks as superb in this jumpsuit as a person can. Love the red shoes with it. I also love that Michelle appears to be telling her to talk to the hand.

But, it was actually a call for a high five.

She wore this to an event where students were invited to help harvest the White House garden. It's basically perfect for that.

"Hmm. Maybe I WILL hang ten off this priceless autographed surfboard. I'm going to have a lot more time on my hands in a few months."

This is totally Simone's piano picture. (I like Michelle's jacket/blouse, too.)

I REALLY like the pattern and colors here, but y'all know my feelings on that kind of hem.

It's not as bad in the full-length as I was afraid it was in the previous shot.

"You know what I won't miss, B? Getting off the helicopter and having to cross the lawn in heels without digging up chunks of turf."

This, I'm sure you saw when it happened, but I couldn't resist ending with it. They attended the opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture on the National Mall, and MO went in for a little cuddle with Dubya -- presumably after he asked what Prince Harry is like in person.
Her dress is great, and so is the love across party lines. It's the kind of thing we won't soon see again, I suspect, and I think only happens once you're TOTALLY DONE with politics. Every politician seems a lot happier when they stick the word "former" in front of it.
