This... is terrible. Lena Dunham has suggested before that people only hate on her outfits because of her shape. Not so. I have no problems with Lena Dunham's shape -- I think curves are great and I love the fact that she's comfortable in her own skin, and find her to be very pretty (the pixie cut is good on her, too). I also think every shape can and should be dressed for optimum figure flattery, because every lady deserves to look like a million bucks. This is almost aggressively trying to punch her figure in the nuts. It's not a cute enough outfit to merit her wearing it anyway even though the fit is poor, so it just makes you wonder if she's trying to dare us to dislike it because she's decided that doing so makes us Curve Haters. When really, the reason I dislike it is because I am a Curve Lover and that outfit is a Curve Hater.
Hark! She put on a little lipstick and she DID feel a little better! The cliche has come to life. This photo is actually adorable, and the little fluttery cape on the back is cute. This might save her from an otherwise damning Fug Madness seed. MIGHT.
From the front it's a little linebacker-y, but I think the nice simplicity of the hem and the rest of the dress allows for the flippy ruffle. Most improved, Zosia. And also actually legitimately good.
Jemima Kirke just had a baby a month ago, but I kind of wish she'd owned that body instead of dressing it like she's a cult member.

Very, very pretty dress. She's my prediction for the starlet most likely to drop by Oscar de la Renta's show at Fashion Week in February.

This suit is loud and nutty and kind of fabulous on her and she is wearing the HELL out of it. SOLANGE. She is Fug Madness's greatest success story -- a former number one seed who is now pretty much our favorite person to see on the red carpet. My heart, it is warm.

Rosanna forgot to change after she threw over that liquor store.

Michael Stipe here looks like David Cross's eight-years-older brother, who lives in David's garage and cuts coats in half and then sews together the wrong pieces so he can sell then on an Etsy store called... wait for it... H.E.M. Or Nightstitching. Or Sew (In The Place Where You Live).

That's a nightgown, right? It has to be. I feel like Jill Hennessy might be a kook. I might want to buy her a couple cocktails and just turn on a tape recorder.

Mamie here clearly thought Girls was an all-female remake of Band of Brothers.

I have seen Nora in many things but liked her in none of them, and can't stop thinking of her as Discount Rachel Bilson. The dress isn't terrible, I guess, but it's very dated. We all owned it in 1992 and it was made at The Limited.
I guess Felicity wanted to come in the show's own underdressed spirit.
And Stephanie, a.k.a. Mrs. Bobby Flay (did I ever tell you that we once bet on a racehorse called Bobby Flay, and screaming, "YEAH BOBBY FLAY, GET IN THERE BOBBY FLAY," made for some very entertaining times at the track? Also, it won us a bunch of money, unlike our other favorite pick of the day, Bro Derek), picked a jumpsuit with nude shoes. For something so bright, it's strangely boring (and does anyone else think she looks like a young Lorraine Bracco with dark hair?). She will have to step it up if she wants her own racehorse namesake. Unless someone out there is REALLY inspired by the words "Tomato Soup Jumpsuit."
