An anemic pile of Kleenex. I wonder if Heidi Klum, the original bringer of yellow unfunshine, sent her a condolence note.

Not as enamored of this. The slit placement is encouraging awkward, hunchy posture -- she can't seem to resist sticking out the leg, and as a consequence, the whole dress looks like it's tipping sideways and she's kind of hunching. I just.... no. She can do better.

This is basically the red version of Rosamund Pike's Vera Wang maxi pad. It fits better than that one does, for sure, but I question knocking off -- sorry, APPEARING to knock off -- a dress that was so widely reviled.

Like this. THIS is better. I love the hair, I love the color... the detached sleeves even sort of work, in a Groovy New Emerald City Power Broker kind of way.

There is some beautiful work here. WHY GOD doesn't it look lined? Why is she going Full Kardashian? THERE IS NO K in CAREY, MARIAH.

I think... we may need to redo that strap situation.

This is like if a bride and her bridesmaid had a tawdry sartorial affair.

She looks very low-key elegant, something that is a foreign concept to most of the rest of her family.

"God, please don't ask me why I'm wearing a choker with this neckline, or when they're going to finish hemming my dress. I was in a fugue state until like 30 seconds ago. Is this the Emmys?"

I have no idea what's happening here, but I assume Tamron is trying to break Andrew with her best King George impression (he was briefly the third King George - King George the Third the Third -- in Hamilton).

I am moved to ask the question, "Were those ALWAYS present?" And in fact I may have asked that before, as I'm having a sense of deja-vu. Maybe they leap out at me more because they're being so visibly pushed around? Also her feet should have more personality than those shoes.

She is beautiful, but I swear, this is what someone I know wore to one of their parents' cocktail parties when they were 15.

Pink lips and red dress go together like socks and toothpaste.
