This show is based on [Lynn Povich](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynn%5FPovich?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)'s book about the 1970 fight against *Newsweek,* of which she was part, protesting the magazine's refusal to use female journalists. I'm very curious about it; it's also an Amazon show, and I'm intrigued that it landed there and not on cable. Maybe AMC felt like it had already done a period piece that covered gender politics, but honestly, it's not like that's an expired issue. Regardless of platform, I'm looking forward to checking out out; Anna Camp is, historically, a delight when on my TV set.
